Delicious food, friendly service and great views of the Alps

I'm always amazed at the demands some people make. It's just unbelievable and I'm sitting in front of my lap shaking my head. I have to absolutely admire the patience with which you explain the situation, Mr. Lechner and Mr. Frankl.Apart from that, I would like to tell you that everything is perfect with you. The care you show for your employees is also really perfect. I think it's absolutely right to occupy the tables according to the number of employees and it doesn't overwhelm them. And if "my" waitress is busy elsewhere, whoever has time brings me my food and that too, from Mr. Lechner or Mr. Frankl.I really enjoy being with you for dinner and overnight. The food is, as always, excellent. I've been a loyal guest of yours for a long time now and I can't fault anything at all. Price/performance is absolutely fine for me. If I get something very nice to eat, including very nice service (and it always is), I'm happy to pay the money. I also enjoy breakfast every time. You don't need more - that is for me. I think the version with the glasses, which is what remains of “Corona”, is great. There is everything your heart desires.A few years ago I was also in starred restaurants. It was quite an experience for me, but I have to say that I no longer like this “schi-schi” food. In the end it is always the same. A dab here, a dab there. A small piece of meat etc. Sure 5 courses and more. But it's just never my world. My world is called Aschbacher Hof.I just wanted to express to you that I really like it with you. Top location on the terrace on a summer evening with a view over the Alpine foothills and mountains. Friendly welcome and excellent, relaxed service. The food was not only presented very well visually, but also tasted excellent. It was a successful evening in a very beautiful environment and the best atmosphere.

Five of us were there on our bikes on Tuesday. Had reservations for 4:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. We ate very well (twice) with a menu, which always takes a little longer. Finally we wanted to drink an espresso, but we were denied it on the grounds that our time was up and we had to leave now. The terrace was almost empty, something like that has never happened to us before. We have been there several times, a couple even staying overnight. That's not a service and we're thinking about going there again. It's a shame, because there's a great view and excellent foodEat.

Stopped here on the way to Croatia. Unreasonably high price! Breakfast was dramatic! No warm food. Apparently the owners, after a major renovation of the hotel, are trying to recoup their expenses. The mattress was uncomfortable and short. There is a restaurant with a well-promoted name - also unreasonably expensive. In the same village you can eat at exactly half the price... and even tastier.The staff is very friendly, the cleanliness is perfect.

The best schnitzel far and wide!!!

Very classy hotel/inn, amazing view from the gigantic terrace, wonderful looking and delicious cakes. Good selection on the menu, although there are perhaps a few small snacks missing if you're slightly hungry

We actually just wanted to eat something in peace and drink some coffee. The friendly lady behind the cake counter already gave us advice and then the unmotivated young lady from the service came. The terrace is now reserved, even though not a single table was set, strange. When we wanted to sit inside as an alternative, we were told that unfortunately they wouldn't be served there because I was off work and my colleagues were busy using the terrace. Nothing like this has ever happened to us and this is my first negative review.
