A real berlin experience as you will never see in another place. Here you will be surrounded by real people and inspected human beings. If you go to the cheapest hostel in town and pretend to be to an hotel in your fault. If you like have conversations and feel like if you’re between person with an harts, this is the right one.Sensible and narrow minded people stay away from

Homeless, drug addicted people. place not cleaned since months (same "stuff" in the toilet after three days) and moldy socks under the bed. kitchen unusable due to the non-existent cleanless. felt overall unsafe and happy we survived. not recommended

When booking, there was no indication that we would be sleeping in a 7-person coed dormitory. We asked for a separate room, but the answer was that it was unfortunately full. We did not see any of the rooms in the accommodation shown in the uploaded photos, only the photo of the outside of the building was correct. There is a locker in the room, but upon our arrival, the host told us that he could provide a padlock for the four of us. The room was a transit house at night, completely unsuitable for rest. The kitchen, the bathroom and the room also resembled a homeless shelter the most. The odors penetrating to the core confirmed the same.

Small bathroom for 21 people and very dirty. The doors to the rooms did not close well and security was not guaranteed as entering was very easy. In front of the building, old and abandoned, there is a park frequented by unsavory people.

Never choose this hotel if you have alternative options. Berlin has way better stuffs to offer at similar prices.It is directly opposite to a park full of homeless people, who typically like to come and visit the rooms and the kitchen and bring whatever things they like as the doors are open. The rooms are smelly, the bed is smelly, the toilets smell like toilets, tables stick to your arms. The caretaker is obviously familiar with thefts and would rather not support with finding the suspicious person who took the giftPersonally, it’s a shame as a Berliner to offer you guys tourists such a place. I strongly suggest the manager to improve security, switch to e-locks that lock doors automatically, and clean the facilities little bit more. LolThe first 1-star review of my life is given to this hostel. Will definitely check the Google review before I book another hostel.

The room that the 3 of us rented was a really good deal! :)Pretty much furnished in the old style but the bed was super comfortable and so were the 2 sofa beds🥰The staff was very friendly and the location is really nice and above all it was quite quiet!^^Directly opposite there is a park with a playground that is really nice🫶🏻The bathroom was really clean but unfortunately there was no key to lock it (maybe we didn't find it haha)Otherwise really cheap and there was even a kitchen that was fully equipped 👍🏻The three of us paid around €45 per person and we were all positively surprised and satisfied ☺️I'd love to come back there next time!

I know it's cheap but don't do it to yourself! There are always drug dealers and homeless people in the hostel who come in from the street and the owner doesn't give a damn. Plus it's dirty and stinks in every corner and and and...It's better to take something less harmful to your health for €10 more per night.

I recently stayed at this hostel, and it was a surprisingly pleasant experience contrary to some online reviews I had come across. The hostel's central location is its biggest advantage, being within a 5 to 10-minute walk to multiple metro stations, making it convenient for exploring the city.The apartment was quite spacious, with a large living room, a well-equipped kitchen with basic amenities, and a bathroom. The room I stayed in was on the third floor. There was no elevator in the apartment. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. I also appreciated the prompt response when I requested an iron.However, the property did have its drawbacks. The most significant issue was the heating system, which didn't seem to function effectively, leaving the rooms quite cold.Despite the negative comments I had seen online, my personal experience was positive. The hostel offers great value for money, given its location and the size of the accommodations.

The private apartments here are excellent for a low cost family stay. Great location, clean and secure.YES it is budget accommodation, there is not lift, the rooms are a little old, but its a perfect location and comfortable place to stay. We had not problems with safety/ security

This place is the definition of “it works”, you got a bed, toilet and a shower, it works if your only staying for a day or two. The staff is helpful and nice, it was only on day two we realised that the drunks in the park outside also worked at the hostel and sleept there as well. However they where really nice and helpful, but be aware that anyone can walk into the common room, which is the kitchen. The kitchen was dirty and small and everything felt a little yuck to use. To sum up, it is cheap in a good location, but it is somewhat dirty and it lacks security. So if you want to feel secure with good locks and everything this is not the place for you

This is an absolutely dreadful hostel, would never recommend staying here unless you can’t find a bed anywhere else, everything is so dirty the keys given to guests unlock every room and door in the hostel so anyone can get into the room.Had people bursting into our room throughout the night with someone violently throwing up in the toilet in the morning, would not recommend staying here only postive is the staff are nice and the hostel is located in a lovely area of Berlin but not central at all.

The hostel does exactly what it promises. The setup is simple but practical. The only point of criticism is the cleanliness of the bathrooms, which is not always perfect. Otherwise we were very happy with the beautiful location and the friendly staff.

Terrible and had to check out hours after arriving. After visiting reception which was basically a closet we were shown to our room, which we were found to be sharing with a homeless man with his possessions scattered across the room. He was seemingly gooning upon our entrance while blasting peculiar videos on his phone with no regard for us. The room also smelled as he had cooked some devilish concoction for dinner. Upon leaving and entering the room 3 times, this man became aggressive, swearing at us for going in and out. His aggression forced us to relocate to the far superior St. Christopher’s inn hostel which I highly recommend u book instead. Do not go near this place.

Horrible experience. The conditions were atrocious. There appeared to be homeless people residing in the hostel and inside the shared kitchen. We were given a shared room with a knife-wielding homeless man who was exceedingly aggressive, causing us to abandon our hostel room and book another. You are much better off staying at St Christopher’s Inn at Rosa Luxembourg Platz. The prices are very similar. We dialed their “emergency number”, but they were of no help. If there was a “0-star” rating, I would give it.

The reception is in what appears to be a broom and toiletries cupboard.. and the kitchens are overrun by what seems to be homeless people that somehow afforded one night and are staying there and are violent. We were posted up in a room with a hallucinogen taking dude that started yelling at us.
