Very poor price/quality ratio. Dirty room, cracked sink, breakfast at 16eur very insufficient.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in, for the price of the rooms. I was not given the room I had made the reservation for. Hotel supposedly fully booked... question : why confirm my reservation in that case ?First night without any heating. Answer from reception : you'll have to wait until tomorrow because I can't do anything about it.Second night : leak from thr bathroom ceiling. First and last stay in this awful place. DOT NOT TRY IT.

We booked a room quite late with our dogs, so we were happy to find something. The parking is kind of expensive, and the dog fee is 10 eur per dog per night (not justified). When we checked in, we asked the receptionist if we could pay now. He said no, no worries, you pay in the morning. Less than 10 minutes later the fee of the stay was booked on our account. The next morning, we went down to check out, and we needed to pay again. They said they will release the money (not happened yet, today is Tuesday, we were there on Friday night). Extremely unprofessional, if we ask to pay, why can’t we? Why we need to pay double? When I said I’m not happy with this, the lady at the reception in the morning shrugged. The rooms are clean, and it was great that there are shops nearby, but the double payment was really strange and unprofessional…. Please do better!

First of all, the food that evening was very good and tasty. But the room was pretty shabby. In the bathroom, tiles on the floor and tub are broken, the grout lines are nicotine yellow, the tub is black, the carpet in the room is pretty worn, etc. This could really use a renovation. The staff was friendly and made an effort. But with two or three of them, they were at their limit with bar service and food for 20 people. Beer came from the bottle into the glass,I've had much better hotels for significantly less money.

Really surprising. After reading so many negative reviews, and, as a person who spends a lot of time in hotels, I expected a disappointing experience and what I found was, a great place, clean, quiet, staff out of 10, …

I want to say that we liked the hotel. We were looking for a budget option during the marathon, when everything in Berlin was already booked. It was supposed that there would be a train to the city center in 40 minutes, but now the railway is undergoing repairs, so there will be a bus-train-metro transfer. You can park your car overnight on a nearby street near the school. We got a clean and odorless room (we asked for this when booking, having read the reviews). There is a mini-fridge, paid drinks (marked), a hairdryer, and at the reception you can ask for a kettle and an iron. The windows are east, but there are good light-proof curtains. The street can be heard, but not critically (not like in big cities and tourist places).Across the road there is a supermarket, shops and a pedestrian street to the station with many cafes. In general, it feels like the management cares about the hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was extensive and beautifully prepared. The building is in urgent need of renovation, carpets are broken, picture frames are broken and crooked, the shower hose and fittings could also be replaced.Good location, enough parking spaces. All in all okay but some beauty care needed.

There are (modern) hotels where you feel comfortable and there is the Wyndham Garden in Hennigsdorf. On a positive note: The important places in the room (bed and bathroom) were visually clean. You could sleep well because the hotel is in a quiet location and obviously not fully booked. On a negative note: the room greets you as soon as you open it with a fragrant mixture of musty and cold cigarette smoke from times gone by. A lamp flickers and whirs, the floor lamp only works half-time and the fan set up to replace the non-existent air conditioning only has two of three propeller blades and is therefore unusable. The stained carpet and the rocky seating can otherwise only be found in the bulky waste. If you like foot baths, you'll get your money's worth in the shower-bathtub combination. Even when the shower is turned on, the bathtub faucet continues to run so quickly that the drain can no longer keep up.The hallway also shows some wear and tear from suitcases and/or cleaning vehicles. Overall, the staff doesn't seem very motivated. The reception by a young gentleman was friendly, but otherwise there were no questions about how we were or greetings. The breakfast buffet is extensive, but compared to other hotels in the price range it is kept simple (bucket yoghurt, bulk sausage packs, baked rolls, hardly any fruit, no variety and - especially these days - no vegetarian/vegan alternatives). That's better. By the way, I'm still looking for the "Garden" at Wyndham Garden to this day. 😉At checkout the lady only asked the obligatory questions: Have you used the minibar? Parking lot used? I would have liked to have asked whether everything was OK. So it seemed like she wasn't interested at all (she probably wasn't). Regarding parking, I can recommend parking in one of the surrounding streets. There was always a free space available here.During my stay, I was unable to confirm that the feedback from previous reviews was "taken into account and taken seriously", as the hotel responded. I certainly could have proactively approached reception and complained about my room. But the point is that you shouldn't even offer a room like this. Especially since I don't assume that these problems don't exist in another room.Overall, the hotel appears worn and run down. The scratched stickers on the front door could be a sign that the hotel has changed hands after its golden years. But that's just a guess. In this price range you can find much more modern alternatives without “scenting”. If desired, also much more centrally in Berlin. I can only advise against staying unless there is an urgently needed renovation.
