There are fly screens on the windows, a really large shower and a large selection at breakfast. So: all thumbs up!

The guesthouse was ideal accommodation for our family reunion with 35 people in 15 rooms. André Ahlrep is a great host, well organized and with a good team. We felt very comfortable.

Small but nice! The entire area around the guesthouse is ideal for hiking, cycling, walking and exploring. Pure nature and of course the super clean and clear Stechlinsee approx. 8 minutes. reachable on foot from the guesthouse. For us personally, the most important thing in such places is a good shower, a comfortable bed and breakfast! Pension Stechlinsee offers all of this. If you're looking for luxury, you've come to the wrong place. Everything is kept very simple but for a few nights, just right. The rooms are clean and were completely sufficient for us (2 people). The breakfast is simple, but sufficient to prepare for a day of hiking (unfortunately only baked rolls), but there is free coffee 24 hours a day, which you can draw yourself from the machine. The service is very nice and it's easy to get into conversation. Conclusion: Completely sufficient for a few days and/or to prepare for excursions. In front of the guesthouse there is an outdoor area with umbrellas where you can have food or drinks, as well as a bicycle rental facility. There are enough parking spaces for cars.Small but nice and to be recommended!

Bike hire only - the guy was super friendly, helpful, rented us 2 lovely kids bikes. Economical, convenient, and great.

The room was just stuffy. We stayed in a four-bed room and ended up having to sleep three people in a double bed because the other "double bed" only fit one person.

Our experience on the weekend of June 29th / 30th, 2024 with the owner Mr. Ahlrep of the Pension Stechlinsee is now a little behind us, but we would definitely like to share our very positive experiences here.We originally wanted to camp at a campsite in Neuglobsow, but unfortunately it no longer existed. So we tried our luck at the local guesthouse Stechlinsee, which turned out to be a lucky break.Mr. Ahlrep was immediately very likeable, direct, straightforward in communication, very flexible and helped us a lot by allowing us to set up our small tent on his site for one night. We were also able to keep a few food items cool and use the guesthouse's sanitary facilities.His open-minded, funny and flexible nature was very refreshing and pleasant and we are very grateful to him for quickly solving our problem.

The guesthouse has a special charm. There is an atmosphere of trust here. I always enjoy coming here because it's like coming home for me. The kindness with which I am received is genuine. And what I particularly appreciate is that I also learn a lot about the cultural events in the village. The guesthouse is also located on a path that was named after an honorary citizen of Neuglobsov. Hanns Krause, an author of children's and young adult books, who increased my love for this place. And don't forget André Ahlrepp, who and his employees are always there for his guests. Thanks Andre!

Great accommodation with top breakfast (fresh fruit, high-quality juices, fresh salads, muesli) in the immediate vicinity of the lake, staying overnight in a caravan has its own charm, perfectly fine for two adults, our dog was welcome, bathroom is available for caravan guests in the main house ( 50 meters away) available. The small caravan itself only has a toilet and a small sink, a coffee machine, kettle and microwave are available in the main house, the barbecue evening (homemade salads!!!!) was also great for vegetarians, very, very quiet location, parking space available, double rooms also do a cozy, clean impression, staff friendly and helpful, Stechlin only has a few restaurants, no supermarket, no bakery butcher), buses run from Stechlin, you are more mobile by car, many lakes nearby
