Very dated, no frills, no luxury still has perspex bolted to old PC monitor stands at the reception from covid times. Breakfast was similar to sunbeds on holidays where all the Germans get down early to pile up their plates and the buffet doesn't get replenished so it's slim pickings.Onto of the ambience the rooms are very basic for a rather hearty price and the floor is softer than the actual beds.

Were there with my wife, children and dog. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location is okay, we were only there for one night. The location wasn't that important to us. It was good that there was no problem with the dog. Would love to come back.

Really friendly and helpful staff.
Room cleaning could improve, there was rubbish in the toilet bin, and a food bag inside of the wardrobe.
For bed and breakfast is worth the price..

Really nice hotel with super good service and English speaking staff. Even though we arrived late in the day, there was still the opportunity to sit on the beautiful terrace with a beer. Breakfast was cheap and very good selection. Will definitely come again!

The hotel is a bit old. Equipment is very functional, stylishly left sometime in the 80s and 90s. Nevertheless: everything is very clean, the staff is friendly. City center/market square within walking distance.

A nice, quiet hotel with a breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed so you have to take a 5-minute walk to the old town

The rooms are spacious, equipped with a closet, wardrobe, desk, TV and a mini fridge. The bathroom is sufficiently large and equipped with a shower. The bed is a double bed with shelves on the side, the mattress was in very good condition for a hotel of this class. 👍🏻 It was really firm and not saggy - very comfortable and pleasant. Unfortunately there were far too few sockets in my room. A socket under one of the bedside shelves, difficult to reach for older people, and a socket at the entrance light switch (probably a cleaning socket). Anyone who is in the office area and wants or needs to do some work in their room has a bad chance. There were two sockets hidden behind the table for the TV and fridge, which you can only get to if you move the desk away from the wall. 👎🏼👎🏼There is also a socket in the bathroom for the hairdryer. My room was at the back of the hotel and it was very quiet at night, even with the window open.When checking in, I asked about dinner times and was told: I should go into town to eat like all the guests. That wasn't bad and most likely cheaper, but it was still VERY unprofessional. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

The hotel is outside the city center and the nearest restaurant apart from this one in the hotel (which was closed) is 1.2 km away. Our room was clean but a bit old fashioned and the bed not as expected. The bathroom was fine. Breakfast is without comments.

From the outside it looks like old GDR Scharm. Room clean and big enough. Breakfast absolutely ok. Unfortunately there is no longer a restaurant. So the evening is a bit dreary. A beer like that on a free evening would be nice.
