If you love peace and quiet, this is the right place for you in the middle of the forest. A wonderfully idyllic spot on earth and a period-appropriate and attractive hotel with a fine restaurant right next door, where the most delicious breakfast with an unprecedented selection is offered! It's really crazy and from a scale point of view it's a good thing that we were only there for 4 nights. Everything was delicious, the best egg 🥚 I've ever had in a hotel 🫶🏻… thank you very much! I see the same attitude towards C politics and wish you strong nerves for guests who haven't figured it out yet.Thank you for 4 wonderful days of relaxation in your house🙏🏻(…just a little more cleanliness in the rooms would be desirable..)

Unfortunately we couldn't stay overnight in the Neue Mühle and had to cancel. My wife and I got sick 2 days before. Since our son then told us that he had Corona, we did a test. Unfortunately he infected us, we were both positive. I had cold syndromes, my wife had much more severe syndromes. Severe sore throat and aching limbs, driving on was out of the question. So unfortunately we had to cut our trip short.I wrote to the hotel and asked if we could come back later. I then received an email from the hotel which I have attached here:Dear Mr. Fxxxxx,Meanwhile, everyone should know that a cold caused by “coronaviruses” is more harmless than any other flu (see RKI protocols). A test doesn't even detect a disease!Above all, it is not necessary to stick a stick up your nose to combat possible symptoms.If you have the flu, you go to bed and recover for 3 days, just like you always have.We have no understanding for this corona fairy tale and hope that you understand our attitude.If all potential guests regularly stuck a stick up their nose (supposedly test on fours), we would have to accept pointless cancellations every day from people who aren't even sick.Our answer to your question is therefore clearly NO!Finally stop the Vierus madness!Best regardsKati NightingaleI really didn't expect such outrageous news. Our only concern was that we didn't infect the other guests and staff. In any case, we will never go to this hotel.

Short vacation in Brandenburg with lots of forest and ponies!

We traveled to Brandenburg as a family with a dog. Four nights in the “Neue Mühle” were planned.We stayed in a holiday apartment above the restaurant, this apartment/room was very, very unclean and shabby. The furniture was full of stains. Cobwebs everywhere, carpets and floors dirty. The WiFi was very slow. The television was very high up and only the public channels were on the program. The hallway in front of the room smelled disgustingly of bar grease. No fly screens on the windows, so after airing it out we had everything full of flies, bugs and mosquitoes.The beds were the only highlight.There was a lot of choice at the breakfast buffet, but the quality was rather mediocre. Quantity instead of quality, or less would be more!Baked goods were dry and not fresh. And no attention was paid to the cleanliness of the cutlery etc.The area is beautifully situated in the forest. The playground was fine, no petting area. Overall, the area was rather unkempt. I wouldn't describe it as a wellness hotel. And unfortunately I can't recommend it to anyone!We left early after 2 nights (out of 4). We just didn't feel comfortable.The staff was very friendly and gave us breakfast for at least two days.

We had dinner in the Neue Mühle restaurant on August 31, 2024. I was very satisfied.When making the reservation, I stated that the occasion was a school introduction and the table was then beautifully decorated with balloons, streamers and chocolate candies.I consciously chose buffet because I simply find it more pleasant with children.The food was great. There were salads, desserts, small cakes, bread and cheese and sausage, roulades, rice, dumplings, spaetzle, schnitzel, vegetables, chicken fricassee and so on. Everything tasted great. And at this price of around €20.00 per person. My daughter even paid less than ten euros. So if that's not great value for money, I don't know what is. The ambience inside is simple but cozy and the outside area is really nice.I think the toys in the restaurant are very old and the staff seemed a bit lost/haphazard. But very, very friendly, from the greeting to the farewell.My conclusion: absolutely recommended for a delicious Sunday lunch. If one or two trained service staff are hired, there is nothing left to complain about. Thanks to the team.

I really liked the restaurant 'Neue Mühle'. Very friendly and fast service. The food was great. The sound of the Buckau was also very harmonious.

We had dinner there.We were brought the drinks menu and were first asked whether we wanted to pay in cash or by card and whether we also wanted to eat something.The drinks came quickly.We waited for the memory card. Then some guests went in and came out with food.We then went to have a look and there was a buffet set up there.You can really eat a lot for €21.50. Unfortunately, almost all of the food was only lukewarm.But the taste was good.You won't find a waiter.We then got the drinks again on our own.We would have liked to eat some more ice cream, but since no waiter came, we went in and said we would like to pay.Service in the desert of Germany really suits me.We will not visit the restaurant again.

Very nice, quiet location. Pure nature. Berlin and Potsdam can be reached in 1 hour. The room was large and the essentials were there. Don't expect luxury, but it was clean. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. We found the price-performance ratio to be completely ok. We want to come back 😀

Not really welcome with a dog 🐕. It's a shame because the surroundings are great.Also negative for guests, no entertainment on Mondays and Tuesdays. You have to see how you get along in the evening.

Nice restaurant in a quiet location.Unfortunately there is only buffet and it wasn't very good. The food was either overly seasoned or tasted of nothing.At least the food I had.My partner thought his was delicious.
