Noisy hotel. You hear everything from the neighbors. Stairwell dirty. Okay for one night. But nothing to sleep longer. Unsafe feeling because the doors cannot be locked properly.

Unbelievable strange and not hotel. A one month apartment rent for two nights, really poor rooms, no breakfast offered not even paying, no receptionists until 10 am, really bad maintained, intermittent internet and to top it they did not make up the room. Near to the messe, only pro.

Booked for one night, perfect for the concert on the Waldbühne. We had actually chosen rustic oak according to the pictures. We were then positively surprised by the great rooms with 3 beds. We expected a sofa bed. A great bathroom and a balcony. We 3 girls were happy. The only thing we were missing were towels. Maybe talk to the service again. Everyone was very nice, you can check in at the machine or reception. We'll come to the next concert.

We stayed at the hotel for a concert at the Waldbühne and a city trip for 3 nights.Service: theoretically not available. We couldn't reach anyone at reception by phone several times. In 9 out of 10 cases it was not occupied. No breakfast.Cleanliness: Didn't discover anything dirty. The hotel is a bit strangely located on the second floor and to get to the rooms you have to go through the former breakfast room, where there are boxes and shower trays.Location: with public transport you can get to the city center in 30 minutes with just one change. It's easy to get to the Waldbühne. But basically things can be better. Either you go more centrally, further to the Waldbühne (but there are always good connections in Berlin) or even closer to the Waldbühne, where you are at the end of the world. Hotel Aster is neither of those things.Rooms: getting old (there are “historic rooms” but also very simple ones) and simple, but enough for the night. Extremely stupid when you don't have a good night's sleep is the immense clairaudience. We heard EVERYTHING clearly that was in the room next to us and that was annoying and it's not nice to know that you can hear whispers or quiet music. There was no code or anything like that for the safe. Pillows are very high and hard, but there is a fan when it's warm. I think ear plugs would be good as equipment.Conclusion: It's enough for one or a few nights, but there are much better and modern hotels for the location and price, which is why we wouldn't come back, but we're not totally upset either

There are a few rooms in a house where some doctors have settled. Nice and quiet. Check in is via an electronic keypad. But it works very well. We had room number 17. It was very spacious and clean. The bathroom needed to be renovated but was clean. Unfortunately there is no breakfast at the moment but you can do it very well in the area.

It is impossible to sleep in the rooms near the reception - the floor is wildly creaky and audible. The owner is greedy and pays pennies to the employees!!!

A brothel on wheels, there's a lot of walking around the construction site, it's a total mess, the windows are closed with screws to prevent them from opening, and I don't recommend rooms without ventilation with all my heart.

We stayed there one night to attend the Rammstein concert in the Olympic Stadium. The location between the main train station and the Olympic Stadium is ideal. The rooms and bathroom were functional, although some of the furnishings were a bit run down. Because the check-in machine is easy to use, we didn't encounter a single employee or another soul during our stay at the hotel. For a short overnight stay, the price is ok and suitable.

Disaster, room felt like it was from 1950, water stains/mold on the ceiling, bathroom and towels dirty.In 48 hours we only saw anyone from the staff at check-in. The dude, who speaks neither German nor English, needed help activating the room card.Maybe enough for trade fairs or concerts if you've drunk enough, you're really just there to sleep and you don't care what it looks like around you.The balcony and facade look as if mold had been mixed into the concrete.The beds squeak more like a rubber duck but are at least comfortable.

Nice hotel located close to the Theodor-Heuss-Platz metro station. The price-quality ratio is very good. The hotel is clean but needs renovation. Possibility to check in using a kiosk when the reception is no longer open. I definitely recommend it.
