I am or have been a guest at Clipper for more than 10 years and come several times a year. In recent years, the employees have become increasingly unfriendly. Worse still, it gets dirtier and more worn. Hallways and elevators are black on the FLOOR AND THE corners. Rooms starting to wear out and not clean in the corners. It used to be better. If it stays like this, I'll probably need somewhere else to stay

Very clear information on how to get to the hotel and, as I was arriving outside of reception hours, very clear on how to access the building.Excellent location, very close to transport. Unter den Linden U-Bahn station is a two minute walk. Plenty of restaurants close by.The building felt very secure as you need a room key to access the front door and to use the lift.The room was spacious, spotless and well appointed. Bathroom was spotless, shower good and really soft towels. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet despite being in a busy area. I slept very well.I stayed in a studio as I wasn't going to be in the room that much and the kitchen was still a welcome addition and well equipped for what I needed.This place just works. It's reasonably priced and I would recommend a stay here to anyone. I can understand why people return again and again.

I recommend this accommodation for the middle of Berlin. Much within walking distance.Comfy bed, great shower and clean. Mini kitchen included.The location is perfect and you feel at home for the time.At the entrance there is a wine bar where you can also eat well

I had the pleasure of spending a week at the Clipper Boarding Haus in Berlin Mitte and it was a wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of Berlin, with many sights and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, the subway right in front of the door and Friedrichstrasse train station just around the corner.The apartment was spacious and very well equipped. I particularly liked the modern furnishings and the cozy atmosphere. The roof terrace was great. There are 2 apartments which share a roof terrace, separated by a head-high partition wall. This is great if you want to sit outside with coffee in the morning or a book in the evening. A box contains cushions for furnishing (reading chairs with side tables and a large table with 4 chairs).Due to its location on the 8th floor, the apartment was absolutely quiet.We only had the air conditioning on during the day when it was 32 degrees, unfortunately it had no effect on the room temperature. On the other days, cross-ventilation in the evening was sufficient.The staff was always friendly and helpful, which made my stay even more pleasant.I can recommend the Clipper Boarding House to anyone looking for comfortable and central accommodation in Berlin. I'm already looking forward to my next stay!

Clipper City Home Berlin is all that it set out be, better than a hotel, a home away from home. The service is terrific and the accommodations make for an efficient, pleasant stay in Berlin.

It's a pity that the review is bad ㅠㅠI stayed for 3 nights and 4 days around mid-July.The overall service was very good and clean!The staff are also very friendly.Not only that, but the location is also very good. We are pretty muchYou could almost walk around the place!The bed and pillows were great, and I slept very well, neither too cold nor too hot. So, if my younger siblings and I come back to Berlin next time, we will definitely come back here~!!!👍🏻👍🏻ah! There is no noise compared to other places.It was nice that it was quiet even though I slept with the door open!

In short - wouldn't come back here at the warm season due to impossible heatness, but would consider for winter due to good infrastructure.Minuses:- I found a full, dirty fridge with other guests food, this was tackled very fast, but this shows, that the cleaning is not the highest quality.- the room was so hot(even in the colder days), that it was even difficult to stay and sleep in it. There was a cheap fan in the room, but it didn't worked. I approached reception with the request to change the fan and the receptionist offerred me to bring the other fan myself. I was heading to the city and I didn't agreed, so the fan was delivered to my room after all. The new fan was also dusty and not clean.Pluses:- Large, spacious room- Equipped kitchen, I found everything I needed, even the microwave- Good location- Nice restaurant nearby

First time to Berlin and this is by far one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Europe. The room was huge with a full kitchenette with counter stools, walk in closet, spacious bathroom and an enclosed balcony.The hotel property was clean and was a convenient 7 minute walk from a main station. The staff was super friendly. We weren't able to check in when we first arrived in the morning because the room wasn't ready so we left our bags with the front desk. The hotel did call us around noon letting us know the room was ready and we could check in early. They even had our bags already in our room waiting for us. Great service.The room was huge compared to most hotels we have stayed at in Europe. As with most hotels in Europe, there is no AC, but we didnt have an issue with the temp by having the balcony opened (3rd floor, 80*F weather). The room was very quiet and well insulated. We werent even disturbed by a nearby nightclub. There are double doors that open to the balcony and then double windows that open on the balcony that allows a nice breeze into the room.The hotel is centrally located with most major attractions only a 15 minute walk away. There is lots of shopping and restaurants nearby as well.Overall, I'd rate this hotel and our experience a 10/10 and would stay here again.

No idea how this has such high ratings. No air con, rooms are hot and stuffy even on cold days, looks like a hostel not a hotel. There is absolutely no soundproofing at all. You can hear everything!! You will hear doors in the hallway that sound so loud they wake you up, you hear toilets flushing above you, people in the shower, people checking out early with suitcases etc. The curtains don't block out all the light so early morning sun will wake you up.The fan in the bathroom turns on with the light but then stays on even if you turn the light off. So make sure you don't use the light in the bathroom for at least 30 minutes before you go to bed or you will hear it droning. The bathroom had a patch of mould on the ceiling. Disgusting!We asked for a refund and left after the first night because it was unbearable. You can stay at much nicer hotels for the same price so please do yourself a favour and look somewhere else!

The AC in the room did not allow us to lower the temperature more than a certain threshold and so the room was very hot the entire time. on top of that the fan they left in the room was not the best quality and so it contributed more to the room being very hot.
