Very good location and good price, but leaves something to be desired in terms of common areas and services. The bathroom, for example, is one with two showers and two toilets for the entire floor (several rooms with quite a few bunk beds each, that is, a handful of people). The common area of the floor (there is no other area for the hostel in general) is summarized in two small tables, four chairs and two benches. To be what it really offers is only a bed, it could be a little cheaper than the 20 or so euros it costs per night.Edit: It turns out that there is a common area with more tables, a microwave and a water heater. But since it was on a different floor than mine and no one from the Hostel cared to report it, I didn't find out until the last day when by chance I entered the third floor looking for extra bathrooms (because the two upstairs were occupied and with line).

We made a 4-day reservation at this hostel in Berlin, we were coming from a long bus trip, and we arrived at the place around 12 in the afternoon. …

Hostel with a good location, there is no personal attention, it is self-management, showers with hair dryers. They do not provide towels, lockers in the room are very small and do not work, very low bunk beds without curtains. It has a large kitchen-dining room space. I found it expensive for the service offered.

The location is good. It's only 3 minutes away from the u-bahn. But you'll find many better alternatives with a fair price and a good location in Berlin. If you want to waste your money and have a horrible stay, then stay here. There’re many things we can complain about the hostel:First, there's no lock for lady's shower, which means everyone including strangers can get into your shower from the outside and you're NOT ABLE TO lock the door. This is SUPER terrifying and uncomfortable for me and my friend. We have to stay alert all the time when using the shower and this is not we expected. Plus, the water is lukewarm and you have to press the bottom every 20 seconds.Second, the lighting of the hostel is weird. The interior design made us feel nothing but scared. There's no illumination when you walk into the entrance after dark. The main door section makes us feel like we're living in a storehouse and the main door itself looks just like an emergency exit.Third, the poor draining of the sink from both bathrooms and toilets need to be fixed RIGHT AWAY. The hand dryer in the bathroom will blow up the dirty water whenever we struggle to wash our hands......Last but not least, it's hard for us to fall asleep since there're music coming from the ballhaus downstairs EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. Who would choose to run a hostel above the ballhaus?????What makes us furious the most is that the picture they post on the website is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from what we saw in person. The shower is disgusting and there's no lock on it. This is definitely not a good place for women to stay and we feel like we're scammed by the pictures they show on the website.

Totally automated check-in was intuitive, but feels impersonal. Also not being able to leave bags is an extremely disappointing policy.

Worst hotel i stayed in berlin and i have to say i stayed in many before,Every night a different homeless person was sleeping on the bunk below me ;)I think this place is more like a homeless shelter because that's the only rational explanation for that, security is also non existent, anyone can walk in to this hotel and crash on an empty bed.I felt very unsafe overall, your things are very likely to be stolen.

Excellent service, very comfortable rooms, very central to tourist places and a lot of history, both ancient and contemporary. Also easy transportation to different areas and close to the Central Station.

The hotel (or hostel) was acceptable overall. We stayed in a private room with a private bathroom, which was a great deal, especially considering the location—it’s close to everything in the city. There was also a clean shared kitchen outside the room, equipped with everything you’d need. Overall, we had a pleasant experience.
