My first time in a nui hotel and I am positively surprised and thrilled. The hotel is very new and clean. The room is not that big but there is still enough space. …

Freshly designed hotel, almost directly at the Schöneberg S-Bahn stop. The attractive interior, multilingual staff and the excellent breakfast convinced me.

Modernly furnished. Close to S-Bahn and motorway connection. Some free parking spaces in front of the building. Looking northwest into a churchyard! Good selection at breakfast. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet “still” could use some improvement. As on our last visits, the rolls are hard and dry.

First of all, the all-round positive:The rooms are modern and stylishly furnished, cleanliness was good, the bed was very comfortable. It would be nice to have a kettle in the room, but it isn't, nor is there a fridge.Overall, the hotel is quiet (apart from guests moaning at night, but no hotel can do anything about the behavior of its guests), the windows can be opened, but there is also well-functioning air conditioning. There is no information in the room itself, neither about the room itself (for example, it was impossible for me to turn off the light in the bathroom completely) nor about the hotel or the surrounding area.WiFi was available, but it didn't work (no internet connection). In terms of location: very good, less than a 2 minute walk to the S-Bahn and therefore quickly everywhere Berlin is worth seeing. However, I - and I travel a lot for work - have never (!) been greeted at a hotel reception in such an unfriendly and uninterested manner as by the two gentlemen here.It is of course okay to point out that check-in is only possible at 3 p.m. (I arrived around half past one), but a nice greeting or at least looking up from your cell phone should be possible, even without speaking the language...Unfortunately, the lady who later professionally checked in couldn't save the first impression.I won't come here again, but no one was interested when I checked out.I can't say anything about breakfast, after the "warm" welcome I didn't want to spend any more time in this hotel than absolutely necessary.

(+) good location(+) Seems very clean(+) Room was relatively spacious(+) Leaf tea at the breakfast buffet(-) Water from the shower was lukewarm (I found it unbearable in the fall, you would freeze in the winter)(-) Rather mid-range, upscale hotel and no water, no tea, no kettle in the room(-) Breakfast buffet was small(-) Fire door (?) was not clearly marked. I could only open the door to the stairwell from the inside, but I couldn't get back in from the stairwell. Apparently you have to take the stairwell marked “Stairwell”.(-) View directly onto the cemetery...Addition (hence 1 star instead of 2)(-) Check-in was quite slow, even though I had pre-booked, I still had to fill out my address (which makes no sense for a business trip) and that of my company. When you arrive in the evening you just want to go to bed quickly(-) "Double bed" was 2 single beds cobbled together. It's a scam for the price

We recently stayed at this hotel for one night and I can only rate our room and the associated service. When we got to our room it was not cleaned well. In addition to layers of dust on the floor and on the counters, there was also garbage in the form of sweets on the floor under the cupboard and there was hair on the bed.We informed the reception and the room was cleaned. The windows were well insulated and we didn't notice any traffic.

I can highly recommend restaurants in the immediate vicinity: Gorilla Café, Viet Kitchen Restaurant (to-go possible) and Sahara Imbiss/Restaurant.The Niu Dwarf is very conveniently located: the S1 and Ringbahn trains stop right next door. Bus stops are also right next door and the Südkreuz long-distance train station can be reached in 10 minutes.Minor negative points that we noticed are the often closed bar, not completely clean floors and loud air conditioning in our room. However, considering the modern room facilities, comfortable beds and cheap accommodation price, this does not justify deducting a star.We really enjoyed it at Niu Dwarf!
