Good place to stay with family as you will get almost everything you need to live in an apartment during traveling . Nearby traong station, shops and restaurants makes it a convenient place to stay with family

I booked a room online and paid straight away using the online system. I then received an email a day before I was set to travel that my booking had been cancelled due to no payment. I talked to the customer service and they admitted there had been an error in their system, they had my payment but the room was no longer available. They then offered what they told me on the phone was an upgrade at the same price I paid, but when I checked online, the room they offered was actually cheaper than what I had paid. I then pointed this out to them and said that was not acceptable. My booking was then cancelled with a refund. This should not have happened and I ended up a day before travel having my room cancelled.

I too am waiting for a confirmation of a booking at Rix Studios in Berlin - there is no way to contact Rix Studios directly and Blue Pillow, which took the booking and the money, has not responded to my requests. This means I now don't have access to the apartment I booked and paid for. Hoping you reply here.

Berlin... littered... the room is clean and good

My reservation is less than a week away and I have not received any pre-check in information from the property. I am unable to find a direct contact for The Rix. The 3rd party booking site has reached out and hasn’t received any response either. Very disappointed.

Terrible, my husband just arrived today almost at midnight and they gave him the uncleaned room: dirty bathrooms, with dirty towels, unmade beds...really disgusting.

It doesn't work at all. My partner and I booked it through Airbnb, the photos were beautiful and he trusted it to look that way. → Didn't see it! Much smaller and above all not clean, but run down and cheaply furnished.We came in, it smelled, it wasn't big and it wasn't like the pictures. Whoever took the photos is really talented.The walls are dirty and there are some holes in them from screws. We didn't want to put anything on the sofa, let alone sit on it.The shower curtain may have had a good time, but it was long gone, dark mold edges in the shower, the shower head full of limescale.The floors were clean, the cleaning staff cannot do anything about the dilapidated condition of the room and the furniture.I sit on the bed for a moment because the bed linen was clean. However, the mattress was completely worn out and the bed squeaked as soon as I sat down.It is also right on the Ringbahn, where an S-Bahn runs every 5 minutes and every 10-20 minutes at night. It was very loud with the windows closed and unbearable with the windows open. We had a room at the back of the Ringbahn, right next to the “Neuköln” station.It was also very hot, like in a sauna, as the sun was of course shining on the glass box. There was a window, but it only opened when tilted, which of course doesn't help with ventilation or getting the heat out, and we didn't want to test the air conditioning.In addition, the doors are very noisy and there were only young people there, some of whom threw the doors and ran across the hallways during the day. At night I imagine the whole thing to be even worse.We decided against staying there because it was only for one night and during the week we looked for somewhere else to stay. One that is clean. Instead of the €60 per night we paid here, we paid €10 more and had nice, clean accommodation in a hotel.Can't understand the positive reviews.

It is very nice and clean, and the most important thing is a Nescafe machine, and Nescafe milk and sugar in spoons and plates, and everything is amazingly clean, but if the window opens 😉

I dont recommend booking a room here, first of all we expected a bigger room by the photos on booking sites, there is dead insect bl00d on the walls with some dirty mess, the floor is okay and the bathroom is big, atleast there is a coffee machine, toaster and a microwave so yeah its a bit okay. I havent seen the service yet since i just booked today at night so i will update you guys later.
