We have workers right next to our room, so you can forget sleeping once they arrive in the morning + they can stare right into your bed.
Avoid if you want to sleep properly.

So the room itself was cute and the size of the bathroom was perfectly fine... the bed was OK for me and my daughter, but if two tall men had to lie in it it would be difficult.Unfortunately there was no toilet paper in our bathroom... contacted Homaris... someone should get in touch... today on the day of departure still nothing happened..... we bought toilet paper ourselves, I thought somewhat disappointing. It's ok that it's not cleaned every day... but 1 shower towel and 1 hand towel for 4 nights and 2 people is a bit small... if you want the trash taken out and new towels you have to book a cleaning service for an additional €25.... .It's a shame that there are no options that just change the towels....So bottom line, take toilet paper and towels with you if you don't want to pay €25...Otherwise everything was clean upon arrival and the yard made less noise than feared (but the windows were closed overnight)I can still recommend the hotel but would not book it again

Great hotel, unfortunately without breakfast. We had a room at the back with a view of the Berlin city cleaning department. After 3:00 a.m. it became quite loud and busy. However, the room itself was very neat and clean. Overall recommended!

Great apartments. I stayed here for 2 nights and can't complain. It was clean, the location is great and there are free drinks in the room. They also thought of earplugs, which I found very thoughtful.

You can do it. But it is very hot in summer, an air conditioning unit instead of a fan would be desirable. Great smart TV and network. Booking and check-in/out are done online. The room I had faced the street. Hotel is located on a "racetrack", directly on the Spree, Kreuzberg-Friedrichshain, with a hotel ship opposite. Only those who ignore the deafening noise can sleep with the window open. Bed was good, bathroom phenomenal! There was no service. But I didn't need it either. It's all ok!

That's it on the "+" side...The double bed feels only 1.40 m wide - ok for newlyweds - not for 2 grown men. Our room faced the street towards SSW...air conditioning - broken. Like almost all the facilities in the hotel. When we checked in it was 36 degrees in the room (the relatively useless pedestal fan confirmed this with its temperature display). No matter how...open the window - it's really loud...close the window - lie in your own juice at 28 degrees...it was difficult to sleep. Distraction through TV? Nope - remote control defective and no operation on the TV possible... service team available??? Pustekuchen...you have a chat that you can use as an alternative.The optional breakfast room was also not in use.Overall disappointing...no recommendation. There's something better for a little more money.

I liked the location and the facility. The cleanliness was good. The contactless check-in worked without any problems. Little things like the coffee, the drinks (included - not like a minibar) and the ear plugs (recommended given the location ;)) were also great! What wasn't so great was the thick blanket in the summer (far too hot) and the fact that the bed was right against the wall.

I travel a lot for work, but personally I don't need a buffet/breakfast and other personal amenities, but rather a kitchenette so that I can take care of myself if necessary.Renovated, clean rooms are available here, as at other Homaris locations.PS, Berlin life is raging here! I like to take advantage of this convenience: I can end the evening at the so-called “Boxi” Boxhagener Platz within just a few minutes' walk.

Unfortunately not recommended, the room is fine and clean, but very noisy from the surrounding clubs, even with the window closed. There is no staff on site. When I came back that night, the front door of the hotel was locked and could no longer be opened. After a long wait, I reached someone on the hotline. Unfortunately the person wasn't exactly friendly or understanding but rather annoyed. I had to run behind the house to get the emergency key. The employee then asked me to put it back even though the door still couldn't be opened without the card. I then had to take off my shoes to do this and walked barefoot behind the house. The employee did not apologize for the inconvenience or offer me compensation. I stood in front of a closed door for a long time. Due to the points mentioned and the service, I don't think the hotel is recommended overall

Second time staying here, first time as a self-service hotel. The rooms are clean and stylish, good location for food, concert going and record shopping, with the last traces of the wall giving ubeatable nighttime ambience. Free drinks in the room - a lifesaver after a day on my feet. Good value for money. That said I was not in love with the self-service - the check-in experience is a little finicky, definitely watch the video and read the email you get sent beforehand thoroughly. Didn't love having to leave other guests out in the rain either (it was before their allotted checkin). I'd still recommend, but only for the tech savvy and independent traveler.

Very clean rooms and bathroom, great location 3 minutes walk from Über Platz. Very nice view of the Spree and the East Side Gallery. Also 1-5 minutes walk from many eating and entertainment options.Everything checks in online, everything worked quickly and without hassle. Great system, allows for check-in around the clock.Beds were very comfortable and the rooms are spacious.There is a lot of noise at night, but that happens in downtown Berlin.There is no air conditioning, but the windows can be opened completely.Only one problem: you have to look at the lobby door - it doesn't always close by itself, you have to pull it. The problem with this is that the door is often just ajar and not completely closed. Anyone can easily enter the hotel from the street, into the stairwell and into the hallways. I don't think that's particularly safe. -> 1 star deducted for that

Clean rooms but terrible check in experience and extremely rude staff. First, you need to restart your phone every time to reload the key on your app to check in. Second, I was travelling for business and needed to check out 20 minutes later than the scheduled time due to a work meeting I needed to take in my room (also due to a lack of common spaces in the hotel). There is no option to request a late check out, but it was 20 minutes and not an hour. When I did leave my room in a rush, I was spoken to very rudely by the cleaning / property manager as if I were a child - how can you be so rude when you literally do the bare minimum? Zero understanding and hospitality. Third, the hallway was very dirty. Fourth, the rooms were so warm at night - despite the fan provided.If you’re not a hotel, don’t brand yourself as one. Deceptive.
