Rooms ok so far, but a lot of years behind them. There was a lot of prepackaged food at the breakfast buffet. Sustainable is different.

We spent our 23rd wedding anniversary there with an overnight stay! Super class. Staff really friendly. No wishes remain unfulfilled. Rooms clean and very comfortable. We'll be back!

The hotel has a very friendly and attentive service. Nothing has changed since the change of ownership. The rooms are not ultra-modern, but they are very comfortably furnished. Everything is very clean.The breakfast buffet offers everything from sweet to savory, but there is no variety over the days. I wished for more of the hearty sausage specialties from the neighboring butcher, like they used to be here. But this is also intended for vegetarians and vegans. That's good, even if I'm not part of the target group. Egg dishes are freshly prepared upon request.When I arrive here after driving 700 kilometers, the first thing I usually want is a coffee. I think it would be great if there were a coffee machine and a refrigerator with cold drinks in the beautiful lobby, either as coin-operated machines or with a trusted cash register. Maybe it would liven up the mostly deserted lobby.Alternatively, I can recommend the neighboring, endearingly old-fashioned pastry shop with delicious cakes and homemade chocolates.The location of the house is in the town center and with a short walk to the spa gardens.Directly opposite is the Odenwaldtherme... which gives me a bonus star in addition to the three official stars.The restorations in the immediate center of Bad König are anything but exuberant. A little away and in the area you will find what you are looking for, for example. B. Heads to Michelstadt or Erbach. In the neighboring Fürstengrund you can also find good, hearty, honest Odenwald cuisine at the Gasthof zum Hirsch.

Everything was fine. The new owners have given the hotel a breath of fresh air! Rooms are very clean and well equipped. Staff is extremely nice. Breakfast was also great and left nothing to be desired. Gladly again!

Yes, you can stay there overnight and the breakfast is also great...but all amenities such as swimming pool, sauna and gym are closed

The hotel is particularly impressive because of the warm, friendly and courteous nature of the owners. The guest immediately feels welcome when entering the hotel. Many thanks again to the Windolf family for this.The hotel is centrally located, but at the same time very quiet, as the rooms all face the spacious and well-kept hotel garden. Relaxation guaranteed.There are a variety of on-site parking spaces for guests.The rooms are very clean and comfortable.Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. There is a very large and varied selection of sausages, cheese, fresh vegetables, fruit and various juices. Egg dishes, tea and coffee are freshly prepared upon request.

I reserved rooms here for a larger travel group and was part of the travel group myself. I have only had positive experiences with the Hotel Büchner. Very service-oriented owners, a very tasty and varied breakfast, and there were also freshly prepared egg dishes. The furnishings in individual rooms are sometimes outdated, but everything is absolutely clean. Thank you for the wonderful days we were able to spend with you.
