Positive:Breakfast selection was very good and the overall food/food was also tastyThe staff is very friendly and helpfulNot positive:Rooms are too small (for me) and the furnishings are, in my opinion, old-fashioned.Unfortunately, I had to discover and “report” various deficiencies in cleanliness.The hotel is located in an industrial area and it is noisy and, in my opinion, unsuitable for vacation.

We were recently there for a conference with around 115 participants. The service and commitment of the operating family and employees are unbeatable. I have never experienced so much dedication. The food there is very, very good; Even the cakes for the coffee breaks were homemade. In addition, the hotel is well connected in terms of infrastructure.

I can't judge the rooms, they were only for brunch. It was just fantastic all around. The buffet was really unique and had something for everyone.Unfortunately no photos were taken.Endless parking spaces, which is rare.

The rooms have a bit of 70s charm but are clean and lovingly furnished. The service was incredibly friendly and warm. The food was a delight. It doesn't get any better.

I had to stay at Hotel Sonnenhof due to a canceled flight and was very impressed with one of the receptionist, My English is not very good, so I was relieved when someone called him, and he quickly switched to French for my check-in. I was delighted and shocked at how fluent and pleasant his French was, and he explained everything thoroughly. Despite being in Germany, where German is predominantly spoken, i was stressed and tired but his language skills made the process much easier for me. While waiting for my husband, I noticed that he spoke several languages, including English and what I believe was Arabic. His multilingual skills and professionalism made a stressful situation much more bearable. Excellent service!

We were able to celebrate our wedding on May 18th in the hotel. The organization as well as the food and drinks were top. All of our guests felt very comfortable and we as the bride and groom had every wish fulfilled. We celebrated with 110 guests and had a wonderful celebration. The service was outstanding and exceptionally good. Many of our guests stayed overnight. We then concluded the celebrations with our guests with a Sunday brunch. Looking back, we can now say it was one of the most beautiful days of our lives. Many thanks to the whole Mainardy family, the entire team and Grandma Braun 💋❤️🥰

I was on a training course and found the conference room and the terrace as well as the restaurant really nice and cozy. Some things seem out of date but behind it there is a loving attitude. The employees were very attentive and friendly. The food was incredibly tasty and good, I totally overeaten. The crowning glory was the cake and a good coffee as well as the parried champions. Please continue!

Hotel is clean but old and outdated... Shower room has been renovated, however it is strange to have an electric fireplace in the shower room directly under the sink as that is dangerous.... There was a perspex window between the shower room and bedroom and the light was shining directly onto the pillow (also strange but not so bad for a single room), and there were mirrors everywhere...! I have stayed there several times within the last 6 years and no room I have been to has air conditioning... I have been told by the reception that "everything is in the room"... It's ok if you stay for 1 or 2 nights, but longer than that in the summer time can be very exhausting without the air conditioning... Breakfast was ok

I was in Dietzenbach and quarters in the Sonnenhof as part of a Volvo training course. Clean room, great food in the restaurant with a grill buffet in the beer garden, nice staff and great service. I can recommend the Sonnenhof to everyone.

We stayed in the Safari room last week and it was beautiful. Everything was clean and well maintained. Sunday brunch was fantastic with a wide variety of delicious breakfasts, lunches and desserts. But the most important and surprising thing was the staff. They were all extremely nice and personable, which is something you rarely see in Germany. It's sad to say this, but it's the reality. Therefore, it must be emphasized that all employees are nice, sweet and friendly. The stay was really worth it and the hotel is highly recommended.

Sunday brunch very large selection. Great value for money. Despite it being very busy, there was always a full selection. People were constantly listing things and asking if something was missing.

The food was very tasty. The facilities were okay. The staff very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, they had forgotten to clean the bathroom in my room before moving in (at least the shower and toilet). But that seems to have been an exception.

Went there today for Easter brunch and were horrified at what was on offer for €45. Rolls not crispy, croissants that didn't seem to be fresh. Little choice of toppings. Lunch cold and without spices. The roast beef slices were completely dried out, the pulled pork only tasted like bad barbecue sauce. The service seemed completely overwhelmed. No, never again.
