When we arrived, a complete bed set was missing from the double room, the WiFi wasn't efficient, we had to pay upon arrival and the lost and found management doesn't work at all... All in all, it was more of a service desert!

During my business trips to Wiesbaden I have often been a guest at the Fontana Hotel. However, I won't forget my last 'stay' so quickly:After I arrived at 6:00 p.m., all the parking spaces were already full. I drove down the block for 30 minutes, unsuccessfully, looking for a parking spot on the side of the road. When I told the receptionist this, she gave me a space in the yard where I should park.I did this, checked in and paid the bill the evening before the overnight stay - which was a mistake!About 30 minutes later, the phone in the hotel room rang and the same employee was on the line: The boss had caused trouble, a parking space had now become available and I should move.I told the employee that I was in the bathroom and that I would move the car as soon as I was dressed. She pointed out again that I should definitely move because she was getting into trouble. So I immediately grabbed my jacket (in my pajamas!) and wanted to park the car. However, there was no parking space left. When I reported this, I was told in a very unfriendly manner that there was no right to a parking space and that I should leave immediately. (I was still in my pajamas, mind you)Other hotel guests noticed the very unpleasant situation and offered me their parking spaces.I talked to a guest and told him that I was no longer concerned about the parking lot, but that I was shocked by the tone and treatment of the guests and would therefore rather leave the hotel. The employee in question then intervened in a terribly spiteful tone: “Exactly, we’re going to reverse this now!”I, still in shock, agreed and then turned back to the other guest and assured him he didn't have to leave.Again the employee loudly interjected that she wouldn't/couldn't cancel anything because this wasn't a dream concert and there was nothing for free! After all, I used the room and the fact that I didn't have a parking space wasn't their problem. I was welcome to call her boss and held the receiver in my face. She yelled at me across the hall when I told her I had never experienced anything like that and that she should please act professionally. As a woman in my mid-30s and a guest in a hotel, I don't want to be called speeches like “pay attention, girl” or “mouse.”When trying to check out, the employee became increasingly rude and loud, not to say really rude. As I left the foyer she waved to me with a malicious laugh: “Bye, bye, have a wonderful evening!”Unbelievable...Standing at the entrance, I was searching the internet for another hotel when she suddenly stood behind me and looked at my cell phone. Yes! This employee was actually standing behind a guest and looking at his cell phone. “What are you doing? Do you want to take me in?”At first I didn't understand what she wanted from me, but then replied that if I were you, I would certainly have some thoughts after these abusive comments, but I certainly didn't take them into account. She then replied to me, “Well, bad luck! I have everything on tape.”You have to imagine that. We're not talking about a 'clash at the checkout at Aldi', but rather about dealing with a guest in a hotel.I replied, now very seriously, that this was where the fun ended for me. And that if she had actually illegally made audio recordings of a guest, I would now call the police. The employee in question then backtracked and said that she had just said so and that she had not done so.I left the hotel - and definitely won't come back!

The hotel is centrally located near the spa park. The city center can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. Staff very nice and helpful. Mattresses were great.Unfortunately the hotel is getting old. Unfortunately there was a large crack in the glass in the headboard of our bed and there were various stains in the carpet. At the entrance to the hotel there are large marble slabs, one of which had come loose and was lying directly in front of it. We arrived on Thursday and it was still there when we left on Sunday. The breakfast for €17 is not worth it. Dry and halved rolls from the day before. Scrambled eggs were cold. It's actually a shame because the hotel has defensive potential if you invest money.

Very pleasant and polite staff who are always open to solutions even if you arrive late.Unfortunately, you can tell that the hotel is a bit old. A renovation of the rooms would be desirable. All in all, a solid accommodation with very pleasant staff.
