Very nice hotel, very nice, large rooms with balconies. Quiet location, with the bus almost in front of the door. Great atmosphere thanks to the friendliness and thoughtfulness of the three ladies who work there. Great breakfast, we didn't miss anything.We can highly recommend the hotel.

Very nice, stylish Hotel Garni, very clean, beautiful view, sufficient good breakfast, boss very nice and very helpful as are her employees. Direct bus connection, but also very easy to do on foot. We were super satisfied and will definitely come back

We were welcomed very friendly. The rooms have a balcony or terrace. The breakfast is varied. When the weather is nice you can also have breakfast outside.We would definitely come again. There are parking spaces right next to the house, but if all guests arrive by car, they are not quite enough. Cash or EC card is accepted. Credit cards are currently not accepted.

Very quiet and friendly hotel, family run and very clean.Furniture in the room was a bit reserved, but everything was there.Parking in the yard, bicycles can be placed in the basement (ground floor).Everything was thought of at breakfast.The friendliness of the boss and the family is unique.The average age of the guests is more mature.Highly recommended and again and again.All the best until next time.

Nice atmosphere in a well-kept hotel. For people who travel well, reaching the beautiful old town of Meersburg is no problem. If you don't travel very well, you have to rely on the bus, which runs once or twice an hour if you don't have a motor vehicle. The hotel is primarily chosen by older people. The hostess and the staff are very friendly and give tips for excursion destinations.

The place is highly recommended. Many sights can be reached by bike, on foot or with the adventure bus.The hotel is very clean, the room is large. Unfortunately there was no hot water every evening and the heating wasn't always on. Our bikes also had to be left outside, even though a bike cellar was promised. Otherwise, we can recommend the hotel.

The hotel is located just outside Meersburg on a hill. So you should be able to walk easily if you want to get into town on Schuster's horse. Otherwise, you only have the option of taking a car, bus, or bicycle, although an e-bike is helpful here, as there is a height difference of almost 100 meters between the waterfront and the hotel.The hotel is nice, but doesn't have any special highlights to offer. The rooms are clean and quiet, but not necessarily well thought out. A TV next to the bed without proper seating makes no sense to me.Breakfast is only available from 8:00 a.m. and was at best average. Baked rolls, discounter cold cuts and cheap ready-made cakes are not necessarily what I expect in a hotel like this, especially since there was a bakery in the immediate vicinity. A fully automatic coffee machine without a direct water connection is brilliant. It was almost a running gag to see what error message you got next.The young lady who oversaw breakfast and was also allowed to clean the guest rooms on the ground floor is really great and deserves a special mention. Always friendly, friendly and attentive to guests. I would also like to give 5 stars here.Rather the opposite was the lady of the house, who radiated a kind of basic annoyance and gave you the feeling of being a disruptive factor in the daily routine. My wife and I therefore completely missed feeling welcome as guests. Since we come from the catering industry, this also leads to a significant devaluation and the service only receives a mere 3 stars overall.There are no restaurants around the hotel, so you always have to go into town to eat. Drinks are available in the hotel for self-service, at quite fair prices.After a week's vacation, we agree that Lake Constance and Meersburg will probably see each other again, but in different accommodation.

The owner-managed hotel is located outside the city of Meersburg.We stayed at the hotel at the end of September/beginning of October, i.e. at the end of the season.The owner was on site every morning, sometimes until the afternoon.We arrived by car. Free parking at the hotel.The hotel was the starting point for us to various destinations around Lake Constance. We covered all journeys by car, but this was mainly due to our own limited mobility.If you have your bike with you, you will find a bike rack in the parking lot. We didn't see a bike shed or space in the garage. But it wasn't relevant to us, nor did we ask about it.The upper town of Meersburg could have been reached in a few minutes by bike. Here is access to cycle paths along the main road. From the lower town there is access to cycle paths on the northern bank in the direction of Birnau or Hagnau and ferry to Konstanz.The Hoten has a ground floor, an upper floor and a basement. No elevator. Wide staircase with handrail.Two “slightly negative” comments from us as parents and dog owners:Children only from 12 years and no dogs.The owner told us that the rule regarding children has existed for about 6 years. The hotel has an increasing number of older guests who feel disturbed. In order to avoid discrepancies, an age limit was decided. Hallways and rooms are carpeted. For reasons of cleanliness but also out of consideration for allergy sufferers, the rejection of dogs is understandable.

Beautiful hotel, nice landlady, a holiday is worth it if rooms are available. Booking early will be rewarded!
