For many years, our company's trade fair team has been staying at the Hotel Mohren during a trade fair in Friedrichshafen. The hotel is just really nice! The owners take personal care of the guests, have our many staff changes during the trade fair under control and are totally friendly and flexible! What should be highlighted is the magnificent view from the rooms and the extremely delicious breakfast buffet!

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and were initially welcomed very nicely and informatively. The rooms are a decent size and were clean. The boss and boss serve people at every breakfast and are always approachable, great. There are free coffee specialties and tea in the kitchen for all guests until 6 p.m., great! There is also a fridge with wine, juices, beer and water for very moderate prices to take yourself, thank you very much. The hotel is in a good location by the lake, which can be reached in about 8 minutes on foot. The hotel even offers an elevator, so you can save yourself the 48 stairs. The breakfast buffet is not large, but it contains good, regional products. I can definitely recommend the hotel.

We were warmly welcomed when we arrived and, after a short tour of the house with Ms. Ehrlinspiel, we were shown to our room on the second floor (elevator available!). We were greeted with a bottle of white wine and two delicious apples from the region with warm greetings.The double room was a nice size with a wonderful view from the balcony of Lake Constance and the Swiss Alps. The bathroom was big enough for two people and the beds were a little harder, but not sagging, which was good for us.Ms. Ehrlinspiel always had a tip about excursion destinations or events. But all the other employees were always very friendly and so was the morning greeting for breakfast. This was very extensive, with various rolls, delicious bread and, upon request, an egg dish of your choice freshly prepared (fried egg, scrambled egg, boiled egg). The coffee was brought to the table in sufficient quantities in the thermos and refilled if necessary.During the day you could use the coffee machine in the kitchen for free until 6 p.m. and take a small bowl of pastries with you. Other drinks were available in the fridge for a small fee. By the way, guests were always offered breakfast bags at breakfast to store a small amount of food that they could take with them from breakfast.Parking was problem-free, there were enough parking spaces outside, but also around 7…8 free spaces in the underground car park. With the guest card you could use public transport on the German side of the lake for free. The WiFi (included) worked well everywhere.We reached the lake in about 10-15 minutes on foot, as well as some restaurants, ice cream parlors and mini golf. For boat trips, the Hagnau pier is also right there, otherwise the car ferry to Konstanz (e.g. to the island of Mainau) is about 6 km away in Meersburg.All in all a lovely stay that we enjoyed very much.Thank you again for everything.

A hotel with 4.9 stars? And the one star rating was probably an oversight by a guest... that can't be right. But we also “have to” give 5 stars. We discovered this hotel when we wanted to spend a few days on Lake Constance. Unfortunately, by the time our travel dates were set, there were no more rooms available. After a call we were offered the Pension Eva in the adjacent building. We took action and spent a few wonderful, relaxing days on Lake Constance. The Ehrlenspiel family are great hosts, whether in the guesthouse (next house) or in the hotel. The breakfast was very good. We found it particularly nice to be able to take a roll with us on the go.We didn't get to know the rooms in the hotel, but the rooms in the building next door were very clean, the bed was new, the mattresses were great. We have rarely slept so well on vacation! I prefer soft mattresses, my husband prefers firm ones, but it still suited us both very well. The pictures on the internet corresponded to the facts, so we knew what the room looked like beforehand and were still surprised at the great view we had from our balcony. There was a refrigerator in a general tea kitchen with drinks at very moderate prices. So you can end the day on the balcony. There was also a small refrigerator in the room.There were enough parking spaces and storing and loading our bicycles was no problem. There were even lockers in the bike room to lock things away. But pedestrians were also taken into consideration. To make walking into the city easier, there is an elevator that saves you a few meters and altitude to the hotel. We would like to come again!

Very large and clean rooms. The hotel is located a little above the village and is very quiet. Rich, varied breakfast. As cyclists, we also appreciated the more than spacious bicycle garage.The Ehrlinspiel family are excellent hosts.

We stayed in this fine, very well-maintained *** hotel for 7 nights at the end of May 2024.The welcome from the hosts Mr. and Mrs. Ehrlinspiel was extremely warm. Ms. Ehrlinspiel immediately gave us all the important information about the hotel, parking (underground parking), large bicycle garage with charging facilities and lockers, breakfast times, coffee and tea facilities (free coffee varieties and teas, cookies) and refrigerator with a variety of drinks, beers and wines at cost price.We also received tips on public transport and boat connections. Ms. Ehrlinspiel also gave great tips on local restaurants.The hotel is quietly located and just a few minutes' walk from the town center with its pedestrian zone. You just cross the town thoroughfare. Here you can quickly reach some of the restaurants. The lake promenade is immediately adjacent.The spacious room (28 sqm) with a balcony facing the lake was very clean and nicely furnished, the beds were very comfortable. A bottle of white wine and two Lake Constance apples were available to welcome everyone with a warm greeting.The bathroom with shower was clean and big enough.For breakfast, in addition to a wide variety of particularly fresh and delicious rolls, breads and sweet pastries, homemade jams, juices, secco, honey, cheese, sausage and ham are offered; musi, quark, fruit and breakfast vegetables complete the offer.The breakfast eggs, fried eggs or scrambled eggs are prepared individually upon daily request from the hosts.There is plenty of coffee or latte macchiato.What we particularly liked was that Ms. Ehrlinspiel pointed out to us right at the first breakfast that we were welcome to have a sandwich on the go and provided the snack bags for this purpose.Ms. Ehrlinspiel’s excursion tips should also be highlighted. She is happy to provide information about ferry times, museums, sightseeing and the daily program.Finally, we would like to say that we really enjoyed our vacation at the Hotel Mohren. A place where you immediately feel comfortable. For us it was the ideal idea of a quiet holiday week. The hotel is located a little away from the hustle and bustle at the lake, a 5-10 minute walk from the village and the water. Slight climb on the way back, but within limits. Delicious breakfast on site, there are also take-away options. Hosts super friendly, helpful and attentive. Always with a tip in hand about what to do during the day. What's annoying about vacation? Find a parking space, there are enough available on site, free of charge! Bus stop 3 minutes away, public transport can be used free of charge with a guest card. Definitely makes sense! Delicious drinks such as coffee, tea (both free) and wine and beer are available at fair prices. Room service was very quick and everything was super clean. Great view of the lake. Restaurants can also be reached in 5 minutes. There are also vineyards directly above, which allow for great walks or by bike, which you can also rent on site. Everything was a complete success, we would love to come back!

I've been looking for a hotel like this for a long time. Very personal, friendly hotel owners. Very clean modern double room. Fast room service. Great breakfast with everything you need. Special requests, if you have them at all, will be fulfilled. Great location in Hagnau Mitte, totally quiet despite the main street nearby. And and and.Very nice, I'm already looking forward to my next vacation there.
