There was no soap in the bathroom and the toilet wasn't clean, it could have been a little better, the staff was friendly and the location was good.Breakfast costs 14 euros, extra. I found that too expensive.

I am so glad that single rooms are a thing in Germany. It's all you need as a traveller. The location was so handy too. Only odd thing was no soap in the sink, so you had to lean over into the shower to get it from the dispenser. A bit awkward. But I'm glad they have a dispenser rather than those wasteful miniatures.Obsessed with the Sparrow!

WOMEN BEWARE! I witnessed a male employee (the man with glasses) sneaking pictures of me with his phone. He was following me from behind and was seemingly taking pictures of my behind. When I turned around to see him aiming his phone towards my bum, he looked to the sky and fiddled with random objects as if nothing happened. In hindsight, I also recall this man following me out the hotel on one other occasion, as well as knocking on my door even though I had clearly put the « Do not disturb » sign on my doorknob. This is a shame because the rest of my 3-night experience here as well as the rest of the staff were great. But for other women considering staying here, I would caution against it. I’ve contacted the hotel about this and they seemed not to believe me, although said they would call a staff meeting to get to the bottom of the matter. For those of you reading, believe me when I say the man was 100% taking pictures of me or filming me. I encourage the management to comment on this review with the follow up of this staff meeting.I wrote this same review on Booking.com

I can't recommend the restaurant. Food doesn't correspond to the price level - salad is not "market fresh", as promised, seems more antique - sauce tastes like it was mixed out of the package - "fresh Swabian spaetzla" is dripping with fat because it has already been warmed up several times -? Price-performance ratio is unreasonable; it's a shame that tradition is so trampled on there...We recommended that the friendly young service worker look for a better job - she deserved it 😁

First of all, I would like to say that the young man at the reception was certainly trying hard, but certainly had no interest in his job.I booked a room with a baby bed. First surprise when checking in or trying to do so: steps at the entrance, ... elevator so big that a trolley can only fit in it. ...Why don't you respond when booking and say that a stroller cannot be brought into the room?Conclusion: Get the child out of the car. Parked downstairs, carried the car up to the first floor, picked up the child. So far so good.If it had only remained at this one point, then I certainly wouldn't have written these lines.When I arrived in the room, I saw that the baby bed I had ordered had not been set up. I go to the reception and say this. The employee comes up with me and puts a baby bed in my room with a pillow and blanket. That's it. Mattress, pillow and blanket without cover. The mattress is full of curly hair *gag*I'm waiting for him to come again. In vain. I go back down to reception and ask for linens for the baby bed. He brings me some --- for a big bed...So I temporarily wrapped the baby bed mattress in a fitted sheet and covered the baby pillow with an 80x80 pillowcase.Free Wi-Fi is stated in the hotel description. After it has taken me an hour to prepare a bed for my child, I go back to reception. Get WiFi code. This is so illegibly printed on thermal paper that I can barely read it despite zooming in with my cell phone camera. It takes me several attempts to log in.The bathroom only has a dummy heater. Ice cold, just like the room whose window faces the inner courtyard and cannot be closed properly. The fans and fans roar in addition to the cold (-degrees) in the room.Honestly: I have never seen or experienced anything more loveless than this hotel. If it wasn't almost 9 p.m. I would have packed my child and my things and left.When checking in, payment was probably the only thing that was important here.The foam mattresses have a thin fitted sheet without any other hygienic base. The duvets are summer blankets, which (if the heating were on it would certainly be ok) don't come close to keeping you warm. In the bathroom there is no soap or arrangements like you have in all other hotels. No guest folder in the room, no drinks available, the restaurant is closed (you could have said that when booking!!)In the morning at 8:00 a.m. the housekeeper reliably knocks on the door and asks: When is this room available?Hello? Check out is until 10 a.m.!For the shame of this hotel, I'm appalled at how even a single person can write about "good service" or more than one star. Either they have never slept in a good, clean hotel or these reviews are wrong!I'll never go to this dirty, loveless hotel again (although Rumpelkammer is more accurate) I'm deeply horrified at how they can still charge money for it. This calls for closure.The bathtub has been filled in various places, the wardrobe is from poco and gets stuck when you open the door, the neighbor's toilet flushes you out of bed at night in terror!I'm making a point now, and I could think of countless more.A horror dump. And a shame to call yourself a hotel and restaurant.
