Have you ever slept with winter bed linen in summer? Without air conditioning, so you're forced to have the window open, above a smoking bar where people party loudly until late into the night? You can fulfill this dream here!Perhaps suitable as a place to stay after a pub crawl, I would absolutely not recommend the Bärenschenke to anyone who expects a night of relaxation.

The accommodation can only be recommended, easy check in & out, quiet location, super clean new rooms. Was a regular guest here for the last two years - simply a top address in Meßkirch and the surrounding area. Again and again!

The hotel appears to have been newly restored. In this respect, the facilities are modern and the rooms are clean. Everything went smoothly during the reservation, check-in and check-out. The price including breakfast for 3 nights and 2 breakfasts at 224 euros was also okay. Overall, a lot of effort has been put into building a modern hotel from what was once a guest house. In my opinion, this was also achieved. Now the points of criticism: 1. If you get a room on the beer garden side, it can be loud. It didn't bother me much and the beer garden stopped around 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. It must be mentioned here that the hotel is very aware of this, so they provide a pack of earplugs 😏2. I couldn't get into the WiFi - maybe this was due to my S-phone. 3. I didn't understand why no cleaning came on Friday. Finally, I would definitely like to mention that I got a good but slightly older peach for breakfast. When I noticed it at breakfast, of course I didn't eat them and left them on my plate. After breakfast I went to my room and came back into the breakfast room to pay. After paying, I received a paper bag from the lady I had previously paid with that had two perfectly fit peaches in itwith the words: "Excuse me! I noticed that your peach was not good," pressed into his hand. I thought that was great because I was the only guest that day. And it is only because of this beautiful incident that the hotel gets 5 stars from me, because that is hospitality in the truest sense.

The hotel is modernly furnished, our business partners use it again and again and the breakfast is very good. The pub on the ground floor and the beer garden in summer are also worth a visit. Gladly again! Thanks!

I can't really understand the existing reviews.We were happy to have gotten a room at short notice. Without a doubt it is a new and modern hotel with some flaws!On the one hand, there are no parking spaces in front of the hotel and the beer garden directly below our room is busy well into the night and therefore there is a lot of background noise. Ear plugs are available for this! If you don't come late, breakfast is certainly okay.

The Bärenschenke hostel is definitely worth a visit to spend a nice time in Meßkirch. The inventory is wonderful. When we got there our expectations were exceeded. Hospitality is definitely part of the concept. On our pilgrimage we didn't find a single hostel where we felt so comfortable. Everything immediately seems at home. In addition to the wonderful rooms and first-class hospitality, we also had an excellent breakfast. There was something for everyone, everything seemed fresh and regional and the service was second to none. The owner of the hostel (Mrs. Schnall) gave us the opportunity to put together a packed lunch with the leftover breakfast, which was like a banquet. On site we found snack bags to pack ourselves as well as coffee-to-go cups that we were allowed to fill with coffee or tea as we wished.Unfortunately, as a group we can only give 5 stars. But the overall package deserves much more.We will definitely visit again as a group and advise everyone to take a detour there. It is worth it!Thank you for this great experience and we wish you all the best for the future! 🥰🤩

General information about accommodation:- great central location- Parking spaces are available in front of the hotel / if these are occupied, there are other public and free parking spaces 100 meters away- The accommodation is very modern and you feel completely comfortableBreakfast:- Ms. Schnall (owner of the accommodation) takes care of breakfast personally. I think it's great that breakfast is prepared accordingly.- Breakfast includes everything you need. From tea, to coffee, sausage, cheese, eggs, etc. Exactly what you imagine a good breakfast to be.Staff:- Ms. Schnall also takes personal care of all guests. You feel completely welcome from the first minute.- The cleaning staff are also very accommodating and always do their work discreetly.Room:- Hygiene & cleanliness: absolutely exemplary- very good facilitiesConclusion:I can recommend the accommodation in every respect for both families and business travelers!I'm already looking forward to the next opportunity where I can take advantage of what the Bärenschenke hostel has to offer!
