Hotel not really recommended - it's like a student dormitoryI had booked the Hotel Klostermühle for one night as I was a wedding guest nearby.Check-in only takes place in the afternoon from 2:00 p.m. Before that, no one was there and couldn't be reached by phone, even though I had called 2 weeks before to be allowed to check in at 1:00 p.m., otherwise I wouldn't be able to make it to the wedding. - Arrived and there was no one there until just before 2:00 p.m.The hotel is nicely decorated, but is very old. The rooms are also very old-fashioned, dark, dark light, very cold and also smelled musty. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the lower area. The heaters in the bathroom and room didn't work. There is no breakfast, I already knew that from my previous phone call. The service was still nice, although a bit sloppy. Mixed up my room several times. There was still no WiFi (not particularly important for an overnight stay).Next time I will definitely choose another house.

You should perhaps separate the evaluation of the restaurant and the hotel. I found the restaurant to be very good and the price-performance ratio was okay. The food was delicious and the service was very nice. Gladly again.

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant and absolutely loved it. The food was simply brilliant – every dish was delicious and lovingly prepared. I would particularly like to emphasize the incredibly nice and hard-working service. The staff was always attentive and friendly, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit!

We ate in the restaurant, the food was really delicious. The portions were large and the price was reasonable for the quality and size. The service was really nice, the children immediately received a children's menu and crayons. The food was ready quickly without a long wait, children's meals came first. We will definitely come back!

We were there for a weekend in May 2024.Breakfast didn't take placeAnd the room was musty and musty. The carpet was stained and smelly. For us it was clearly a horror and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone.Despite the cold weather caused by rain and floods, the heaters did not work. The water pipes had hardly any pressure, apart from the lukewarm water. After contacting us via email, we were not taken seriously. We were told we could have left at any time.In the hotel's words:You couldcomplain without any problems, or even leave. How can you know that the carpet in the room is old? You don't know when we moved it... do you? This was part of the answer we got. What the owner of the hotel didn't know because it wasn't occupied on Sundays was that we spent the night in the car because we were so disgusted. Our room wasn't the only one either, we talked to other people in the hotel and some of them had it worse.Clearly a ruined holiday as far as the hotel was concerned. We requested a partial refund which was not received. The solution to leave early was offered to us afterwards. However, it wouldn't have gotten us the money back because we paid in advance. If someone decides to sleep there, I would look at the room first and then pay.

Very good cuisine. The breaded schnitzels are homemade and not heated in the deep fryer from the freezer as is usually the case. The salmon was also done to perfection. Otherwise it would often be fried to death.
