Charged full €165 for an honest booking confusion despite never using their facilities. When I explained the situation and requested a partial refund at least for unused services, management showed zero flexibility or understanding. Remember: in hospitality, treating customers without empathy is a sure way to lose future business. Good luck running a hospitality business.

We booked this cute country hotel B&B for a short vacation. Room was quiet, clean and with a small balcony.The breakfast menu offered a large selection. Egg dishes were freshly prepared upon request.Lindau and the State Garden Show could be reached very quickly by car. Nice hosts with heart.

We had a 3 bed room, double room was not available.There was no balcony, this was not apparent in the offer.The room was very narrow for 3 or 2 beds and a lounger.No chairs and there wasn't enough space.The view was of the deserted “beer garden”, cluttered with junk.Except in the narrow room, there was no place to stay.Breakfast room (dining room) only open in the morning, beer garden not usable. Too bad!Breakfast was good, staff very friendly, only on site in the morning.

The cleaning condition of the room was seriously bad. Although they made the bedding and filled it with toilet paper, the floor was not cleaned at all, and there were crumbs left on the bed.When I returned to the accommodation, I was surprised because the door was not locked. Our room was an old-fashioned room, so there was no automatic locking device, so we locked the room after cleaning and did not leave.In fact, one of the towels rolled up and placed on the bed was a mat. How uncomfortable my wife felt after wiping her face with the toilet paper... It's pathetic.The wireless LAN signal was almost cut off, and the mobile phone data network was not working properly, so I could barely use the Internet.Breakfast wasn't that good either, and they didn't provide anything other than breakfast.

A really great place to stay. We were traveling with our vintage car and parking in front of the country house was easy. Very quiet and great hosts. Hospitality is still alive here. We had a nice room with a great view. Thank you and all the best.

Super friendly host family, shows the room, explains everything, even at breakfast an omelet is cooked and distributed among the guests at the table, the room has a wonderful view of the mountains, the only point of criticism is that it gets very warm in the room but endure. Otherwise very pleasantly rural, great for relaxing. The proximity to Lindau and several hiking destinations is also fantastic! We'd love to come back when we're nearby!

We stayed here for 2 nights. Actually it's not a hotel, but a B&B. This wasn't entirely clear when booking and the review pictures. We actually booked ourselves here because we were looking forward to a delicious home-style dinner in a beautiful beer garden. Unfortunately the Italian restaurant was closed on the days we were in town. That was stupid, but there's nothing the hotel can do about it. The rooms are very nice and modern. The cars were a bit annoying at night (a lot of traffic for such a small place) and the rooster woke us up a little too early. 😅The breakfast was ok. For hygiene reasons, we would have preferred if some of the food had been cooled and the food had been placed in a theme (cover). If the food is on a normal table, you often have to lean over it somewhere, which we found a bit uncomfortable. We found the fact that the tomato and mozzarella from the previous day were served again a bit unappetizing.The owner seemed quite overwhelmed at times.It is a real shame that the beer garden can unfortunately no longer be used by guests. We didn't want to eat the pizza from the delivery service in the room and ended up sitting on the steps in front of the hotel. Not so ideal. The tables in the room are always set for breakfast, so you can't really avoid that.So if you turn the hotel into a B&B (B&B Landhaus Sonne), that would certainly be smart, it doesn't give the wrong impression and things are a little more professional and structured in one place or another, that's a good thing.

We have never been able to enjoy a breakfast buffet like this anywhere: huge selection, everything your heart could desire! Fruit and vegetables like they were fresh from the garden. Quiet location, yet close to the lake. Rooms decorated with love. The highlight: Hubert, the cat at the reception.

We were there with 3 adults, 2 teens and 1 large dog.We had a family room and a double room. Everything was in very good condition and the breakfast we brought with us was very good. In the evening we had German-Italian food in the neighboring house (different operator).Great starting point for trips to Lake Constance.
