A really very nice and cozy hotel. The staff is extremely friendly, the food is very tasty. All around a very good “overall package”. Thank you for the great service and hospitality!

I can't say anything about the hotel, but I've eaten there several times and think the restaurant is really great.I consider it one of the best home-style restaurants in the area. We had above average service on both visits. The staff is very attentive and friendly.In addition, the food is cooked here with love for the product and is very tasty. On one visit the dishes were a bit heavily salted, but that was better on the next visit. Maybe the chef was previously in love or had a cold. ;)The beetroot dumplings are the best I've had so far. I would love to come back and look forward to being able to try other dishes.

I arrived late at the hotel after booking late on the same day on Booking. I arrived, closed. I called, I waited about 10 minutes until he arrived with the owner's car. I checked in, during which he called someone else to prepare the room. After these delays everything went well. The room is big, clean, beautiful. Breakfast ok with the same kind and communicative lady. Large parking lot, historical building from 1500, renovated.

Overall the staff was friendly, but, it is overpriced for what you receive. Furthermore, the owner insisted I pay an extra 250 euro for being the partner of someone staying there. This is absurd, as we didn't receive breakfast, an in-room refrigerator, or any kind of laundry access. The noise was incessant from the bad plumbing, the street, and the loud bar across the street. And, despite them being a pet-friendly place, they insisted my colleagues pay 125 euros for their dog. I recommend choosing a different accommodation in this small town.

Very good hotel and restaurant in a beautiful, historic half-timbered house from 1553, definitely recommended. We had a nice, large three-bed room. The dinner was very tasty, the onion roast was tender, and the breakfast buffet the next morning was also very good. The service was always friendly and accommodating.Booking directly via the hotel website is recommended as it is easy and cheaper (zumkreuzstetten.de).

The ambience and the food were very good, but after we "only" ordered sausage salad, the service left a lot to be desired.That was probably not enough, especially since we still had to pay over 70 euros.
