3 star hotel without great pretensions but quite comfortable. Tiny rooms but excellent cleaning. All in all good value for money

A hotel to fall in love with. We had a room with a lake view and got a balcony as an upgrade. The staff very friendly and helpful. The crossing for breakfast in an undeveloped vintage car was an absolute hit. We'll be back, that's for sure

Checkin/out was very easy. Bedroom was small, bathroom was small, but it also had a table and chairs. Room was functional, but not fancy. We had a window view of the lake, which was beautiful. no ac, but there was a fan! So we left the window open when ppl weren't smoking nearby.

The hotel, or in our case the guest house, has a very nice location. The walk to the shore takes less than a minute.Unfortunately, there are some points of criticism. First of all, the windows are unfortunately not very noiseproof and the garbage disposal wakes you up every morning.Unfortunately, the guest house does not have an elevator, which makes it very difficult for higher floors and those with walking restrictions.Breakfast is served in another hotel and the parking space, which you can book for 15 euros per day, is at the other end of the promenade. What I found worst, however, was that our final bill was mixed up when we checked out. We clearly mentioned at the reception what room number we had and that we still had to pay for the parking lot. Despite us saying that we had already paid for the room using a credit card, the employee wanted to include the amount. We noticed that he apparently couldn't transfer the money back and only cleared it with the administration on Monday.I would ask you to train your employees better so that something like this doesn't happen again.

We booked at the Seehof via booking.com. We arrived full of anticipation and expectations of a beautiful hotel with a great view. After the somewhat lengthy check-in, we were informed that our room was opposite the Hotel Augustin in the Seehof guesthouse. Aha, then just opposite, up an old wooden staircase and an iron staircase further, we managed to climb into the room on the 2nd floor. The room has its own smell and was reminiscent of a Miss Marple film. The historic furnishings are spartan, the space is clear and the 2sqm bathroom is functional. Well, what would you expect for 270 euros for 2 nights. This was also confirmed to us by the receptionist when we announced our dissatisfaction. It's our own fault because we booked like that. Unfortunately it is on booking. com it is not clear which house you are booking. The breakfast in the next guesthouse, Wilder Mann, 200m away on foot, was very good, even if it was totally overcrowded on Sunday. We left Meersburg with one more unpleasant experience.

Disappointing stay. Decent location next to the main boat pier but probably a 2 star at best. Room was clean but tiny. Hardly any room at sides of double bed or in bathroom. No tea/coffee facilities in room, just a chargeable minibar. …

A small, clean hotel in a central location.Absolutely ok for a short trip. Room was small, but totally functional and sufficient. Due to the location on the "main local road", there is strong delivery and cleaning activity in the early hours of the morning. This can be cited as the only negative point. No own breakfast; However, it can be easily reached on foot (approx. 5 minutes) or with a free shuttle transport. The breakfast buffet was very rich and left nothing to be desired. There are on-site parking spaces (with the hotel's parking card for an additional charge) near the car ferry and absolutely recommended!!Due to Meersburg's small size, the ferries and localities are all within walking distance without any problems.

Great view, location right in the middle - you have to like it. What doesn't work is the opaque booking system with the room categories and room sizes. Tip: Get written information about how many square meters your room will actually have; the photos show larger rooms. We booked the most expensive category and got the smallest room - you can barely stand next to the bed. I don't have a problem with that per se - but that has to be communicated beforehand and the price has to be right. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right here and unfortunately you feel badly deceived on vacation.

Rooms facing the courtyard and “de-luxe” rooms are offered at booking.com. Price difference is 70 euros per night. The de luxe room is offered with a lake view and 18 square meters. We booked the latter. The room was estimated to be a maximum (!) of 12 square meters in size, and the toilet was installed almost under the sink. Very tight to get around the bed. The balcony maybe. 5 square meters in size. We were very disappointed and upset. The hotel's “accommodation” was to pay 15 euros for the parking space for the day and two piccolo bottles of wine. Well, thank you very much. Relative to the amenities, importance of the location and room size, this was my most expensive hotel room ever. Big disappointment. In comparison, New York or London feels like a bargain. Or I'm here... - kidding.
