Really bad - never again, the rooms were underground. The bathroom was completely run down, the tiles were cracked and there was mold all over the ceiling. The handles and floor were dirty and sticky. The worst were the mattresses, which were full of stains under the cover, including large blood stains. This hotel should be closed, absolutely bad for your health. You also pay for the parking space and in the evening it is so full that there is no space left, so we were able to watch one car accidentally hit another. Save your money and look for another hotel.

Not recommended. Rooms are totally run down. Dirty carpet. Lukewarm water from the shower. Loveless. We had to pay for the parking lot, but it was full in the evening so we had to park somewhere else. Staff at reception were unfriendly. Sometimes the food was OK and sometimes it wasn't at all, so we ate outside. The last time for us

Absolute disaster.The room was dirty and the furnishings were like bulky waste. You didn't even dare take off your shoes because of the dirty carpet. The food was, well, nothing special, there was always something at breakfast and the juices were always empty. If you didn't get there early, dinner tended to get cold. Well, I was there several times several years ago. It was always great but now it's gotten so bad that we even left earlier. You just didn't feel comfortable.

The rooms are an imposition.Something like this shouldn't/shouldn't be offered anymore.Unfortunately the swimming pool is closed, no one knows why.The parking lot for €6 per night is more than a rip-off.In addition there is the flat rate of 3.50 per night per person...no one really knows what it's for?? Rip-off again!Conclusion, not recommended, not even with a cheaply purchased voucher.

When we arrived we were asked to pay a flat rate for heating costs... this should now be included in the calculation of the total price... really brazen!!!Our room was extremely shabby, the carpet was very dirty, the furniture was "worn out", but the bed was very comfortable and clean!!!The staff was very friendly.The restaurant is cozy and the evening buffet is also hearty and otherwise very varied. Drinks at the evening buffet are not limited and varied. The breakfast buffet was very varied in terms of sausage and cheese, filter coffee and cappuccino.The location of the hotel is very suitable for hiking. Public transport is available several times a day in each direction

First of all: We came as a hiking group. The hotel is very good for this because it is cheap.The rooms are okay and clean. For the price I don't expect more!The food fills you up and there is enough available. That is also sufficient for the price.All in all, everything depends on the service. Jana (from the breakfast service) does a great job, is motivated, friendly and feels like she does everything alone! Cheers! There is one or almost two stars more for that! Impressive with how much commitment the job is done 💪.Thank you!

The room was a disaster, the carpet was totally dirty, the ventilation in the bathroom was extremely loud. Parking fees are €6 per day and anyone who came late in the evening doesn't get any more (despite paying). The access and the paths were an imposition. Everything outside was unkempt and there were no places to sit (except in the smoking corner). Room cleaning was not offered and if you need toilet paper you have to get it from reception. The energy allowance also has to be paid additionally. The only good thing was the food (although there are only scrambled eggs and waffles to bake yourself once a week) but it was always replenished. Nevertheless, we would never book this hotel again and would not recommend it.

Hello, my dears. Redeemed the eBay voucher I purchased on Tuesday. When I arrived I received a very friendly welcome. I was aware of the extra costs that I had to pay at the hotel: parking, energy, flat-rate tourist tax and a 25 euro weekend surcharge. All in all 84 euros for 4 days. Acceptable. It's ok 👌. The rooms are large with large shower bathrooms. Perfect for me and my wife. We felt very comfortable. The food was very good and tasty. The breakfast was also good. The dining room was always clean. There was plenty of food. I really liked free drinks with meals. The nature and location of the hotel was simply wonderful. Of course the rooms need to be overhauled. But then the hotel can no longer keep the low prices. We felt comfortable and would love to come back.P.s. Anyone who has a bad day and is looking for something to vent will always find something, even in a 5* hotel. But if you are happy with simple standards you will find it here. If you would like to leave shortly after your arrival, you should definitely book here! We have never seen such a run-down hotel complex! Otherwise, I don't want to provide any further information as I could become abusive!

We spent 3 nights at the Landhotel Harz.Price-performance ratio for the room (we had a renovated one) and half board was fine. The food (breakfast and buffet in the evening) was also tasty and a bus drove up on the main streetNow comes the big BUT...1. As a guest, a parking fee of €6 per night is cheeky and, above all, there aren't enough of them, so we parked in the service yard2. The path to the hotel is a huge tripping hazard, the stones are lying around loosely, so you really have to be careful.3. Apparently some guests also have to pay an energy flat rate (€3.50 p.p./day)?!4. There was no curtain in the room and the curtain was too short on the side, so the room was nice and bright at night from the lantern opposite5. The staff was polite, but it was hard to crack a smile6. There is no place like a bar where you can get something to drink before dinner.Price-performance ratio fits, but it's nothing to feel good about.

The house is well located in terms of location. Hiking trails well signposted. Very quiet.The food was without complaint, varied and good.The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are old and with carpet unsuitable for allergy sufferers, but clean.A big annoyance for us and a couple we were friends with was that you basically had to go to bed at 10 p.m. because there was no place in the whole house where you could sit together, play, talk and have a drink. Unfortunately, there is no possibility to have a quiet conversation in the reception hall (which is generally not uncomfortable) - - with lighting.You feel a bit like being 14 years old in a youth hostel. There should be an urgent change here.Otherwise you can feel the beginning of renovation, which can be expanded.

We liked it. Rooms are clean, food is good and staff is friendly. If you don't want to pay the €6 parking fee, you can park somewhere else. Our eBay voucher was so cheap that you could ignore the additional energy fee.

Room 117 was an absolute disgrace. Maybe the managing director should be accommodated there someday. At the reception [a very cool greeting from a younger, dark-haired employee] the payment is made: electricity flat rate €7, parking space €6 on a gravel lot, where it's hard to get a space in the evening. Half board was good and varied. The staff is nice - except for the lady at the reception mentioned - and from the hotel you can reach excursion destinations using public transport.

Horrible hotel room for my birthday trip in March 2023. We redeemed our GS and, to make matters worse, had to pay additional parking fees.Were housed in the outbuilding of the main building.The fabric-covered bed frame was torn, as were the chair covers, the dirt could no longer be removed from the carpeting, the furniture was broken, there were no window bars, only metal fasteners, and the toilet in the bathroom was only poorly repaired!!!The bed linen was also torn. We had booked "AL", but you couldn't even get some water or drinks outside of meal times because the dining room was locked, where the drinks dispensers were.The staff was very unfriendly, the pool water was cold, the specified horses were not available and the hotel garden was very unkempt.Never, never, again.😱

Shabby and dirty. Energy flat rate €3.50 per person per day. €6 parking space per day. If it's full, bad luck. The bed was underground. The slatted frame broke. Everything stained. Only the food was ok.

A 3 day trip with accommodation in this hotel is coming to an end, our conclusion is: Hotel is getting old, but you can see that it is being modernized gradually. No obvious spots visible, but the guest notices small changes. Food (breakfast sufficient and tasty.) There is a cold and warm buffet for dinner, which we didn't try. The staff is nice and takes care of the guests. Conclusion: We would come back. Addressed to the hotel management: You are on the right track. Keep it up!!!

Not recommended.You pay for parking and don't get one.If you want to go to the wellness area where there is supposed to be a pool, there is none. The sauna, well what can I say, was electronic, so it wasn't that good either. The room smells very musty and there is mold in the bathroom.The carpet along the hallway has definitely had better times and is totally dirty.Not worth a star......

Disaster, you have to pay €6 a day for parking and if you're late you won't get one.Rooms suck, bathroom is moldy, towels weren't even replaced during the stay. Spa and wellness are zero, there are 3 saunas, but electronic and heartless, no toilets there. Pool has been shut down.Breakfast is only the bare minimum.Once and never again. Not recommended!Not worth a single star!
