We were passing through by bike and only spent 1 night here. Owner-run guesthouse. Very friendly and service-oriented. We were able to park our bikes safely in the courtyard. There is also a charging station for the bikes there.Conclusion: Top and highly recommended

The guesthouse is a converted apartment. Nothing was missing. The bikes were locked in the courtyard overnight. The breakfast was rich. The landlord gave tips for restaurants, cafes and sights in Dessau. Games for children and books are also available. We would stay here again.

Super nice family who have fantastic hostels. Homely furnished rooms, typical German simple breakfast. Happy to help with a city map and tips for the optimal bike route. There is WiFi in the rooms and requests can be accommodated.I would and will always go there again in Dessau.

The family-run Pension Siewert is located in a beautiful Wilhelminian style house with preserved original elements. We booked a two- and a single room here as a family.The guesthouse is located in a quiet side street diagonally opposite the impressive St. Peter's Church, close to the city center. We immediately found a parking space right in front of the house. We were warmly welcomed by the house's daughter, who showed us our rooms and gave us the most important information.The house seems to be particularly popular with cyclists. Next to us there were two couples on a bike tour.The most important thing in a guesthouse is undoubtedly a good night's sleep and that is guaranteed here. Despite the rather soft mattresses in the double room and a rather hard one in the single room, we all slept excellently. On our tour we received pillows for the first time that really deserved the name, a treat for side sleepers! We also noticed that we were given color-coordinated sets of towels; in hotels there are usually uniform white ones, so you never know which one belongs to whom.There was plenty of closet space, which is a clear advantage for stays lasting several days, as well as a desk, a small TV and two very comfortable chairs with a small table. Everything comfortable and in good condition.The breakfast is German, rolls with savory or sweet toppings, everything is very rich and in good variety, no frills, but tasty. The innkeepers took care of the coffee and tea themselves, everything was very familiar, you feel more like a distant relative in a guest room than a paying guest, which beats every hotel.From the guesthouse you can reach Dessau's sights and the nearby parks and castles in just a few minutes, many restaurants are within walking distance, a large supermarket is also nearby, as is a park to relax in.However, if you are not familiar with Dessau, you should use a navigation system, as the road layout is sometimes not very intuitive.We would be happy to come back and can recommend Pension Siewert with a clear conscience.

Beautiful, small guesthouse in a former medical center. The house exudes history. The hosts are very, very friendly. The rooms are simple and in excellent condition. The breakfast is very satisfactory. Smokers can relax in the garden and get to know a lovingly designed shade garden. The location is central, many important points can be reached within 10 minutes. We will be back and would be happy to recommend...
