It was a great girls' wellness weekend. The rooms are tastefully, comfortably and modernly furnished. The thermal baths with the many brine pools and the sauna area leave nothing to be desired. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The food is great. Half board is recommended.Gladly again at any time.

We had booked an arrangement, 3 nights half board with use of the thermal baths and 2 treatments.First things first: the price-performance ratio is not right at all. There is no free parking space upon arrival, all occupied by thermal spa day guests.Room OK, but balcony not the cleanest, wooden planks verdigris slippery.Breakfast below average. The small jam jars, for example, are certainly hygienic, but far from sustainable. All glasses go in the trash. Likewise cream cheese, butter,Margarine etc. in plastic packaging. The dinner as a 3-course menu was unreasonable. Portion size of starter + dessert is very manageable. In terms of taste, it’s at the ready-made level. Main course partly underground. E.g. "Gnocci bean and pepper pan, rounded off with aioli." The “topping off” was a ladle-sized pile of greasy mayo cream on top of everything. Not edible.Next, roulade with Thuringian dumplings: The only Thuringian thing about the dumplings was that they were served in Thuringia. Hard and without taste.Overall, the food and ambience in the restaurant had the character of a canteen. I'm confused as to where 3 stars come from for something like this.Thermal bath and sauna OK, although the cleanliness in the relaxation areas left something to be desired.Applications were ok.Compared to other thermal hotels, this was by far the worst.A plus point: the staff was friendly and very helpful during our stay.Management should think about this urgently and soon.

Well I can't share many of the reports I've read here regarding food. Either a lot has changed in the meantime. I was pleasantly surprised by what was served on the evening menu. Here are my pictures, everyone can form their own opinion. Of the beautifully prepared dishes that also met my taste. Even the breakfast buffet is more than sufficient and everyone should find something for themselves. The unfortunate situation in the rooms regarding the shower, toilet and beds was already provided with a privacy screen during our stay. The concept is very modern, perhaps not optimal in a hotel. And I don't share my room with strangers, so we didn't find it annoying, just unusual. The employees were without exception very nice. We had a very nice stay and will certainly come back.

Our arrangement consisted of 3 nights, half board, use of the thermal baths and two treatments. In the end we spent a generous 900 euros including parking and tourist tax.First the positive:The treatments were nice, the staff were very warm and friendly. That was a perfect fit.The thermal baths are good, the music pool is something special. The room was clean, but the bathroom solution took a bit of getting used to.The half board, on the other hand, was subpar. Mitropa atmosphere and very, very bad food (ready-made food, frozen goods, snack-like). On the third evening we voluntarily skipped “dinner”.This absolutely MUST be improved, as this would turn the entire price-performance ratio into a totally negative one. But we believe this is known (there are already many negative reviews about this). There are still enough guests coming and absorbing this lack...The canteen staff do not see themselves as service providers, are over-instructive and prescribe the use of glasses and standing and sitting behavior. It doesn't work that way!We then drove on to the next thermal spa with a hotel in Thuringia near the border with the Czech Republic. Professionals work here!We recommend that the management of the Hotel an der Therme in Bad Sulza undergo further training here. Feel free to take an example here when it comes to ambience, enjoyment of the job and cooking with heart. You can do it!!

The best thing about the hotel is the direct access to the thermal baths. This thermal bath is absolutely great.
