The view of the ground, just pretty there. We slept really well 😍 Spontaneously asked for a room on Sunday, then hiked the 16 km loop. After hiking, no one wants to spend a long time looking for a restaurant. Luckily we didn't have to, it wasn't a rest day 🙂 The food was really tasty, we fell into bed satisfied and exhausted. The young owners are very attentive and put in a lot of effort. It will certainly take some time until the entire hotel is completely renovated, but some things can stay that way. That also has something to do with the history of the house. I could have stood on the ground all day and looked at these great buildings. The way to Wilhelmsblick is really easy, don't let Komoot send you down any embankments 😂 We'll definitely come back to this beautiful area. Lots of greenery all around, romantically located directly on the Bode, very friendly welcome, large breakfast buffet, was a guest with the dog, very cozy room with a view of the Bode, next to the hotel you can enjoy an idyllic hike along the river to Altenbrak, very happy again.

We stayed in this cozy hotel, idyllically located on the Bode, for the second time this year and can only confirm our review from last year, this time also for the new owners. With a lot of commitment, friendliness and responsiveness to the guests' wishes, the young people create a great feel-good atmosphere. With this in mind, a big thank you to the team, always a full house, lots of perseverance and all the best for the future

A beautiful hotel in the Harz.You feel like you've been transported back in time.You can cross the bridge directly onto the hiking trail that leads to the Hexentanzplatz.The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious.

This hotel is an exceptional experience. Very tranquil and peaceful, the team are very attentive and go above and beyond. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have all the amenities that you require.For those that are not as fluent in German this gives you the ideal opportunity to touch up on your German speaking as the owners will help you as their English is exceptional.Breakfast as is dinner was beautiful. We will definitely be coming back for a visit.Thank you to the staff for our amazing stay !

From the first minute we felt welcome and in good hands. The hotel impresses with its perfect location directly in the Harz Mountains, with a breathtaking view of the Bode and the surrounding nature. Particularly noteworthy is the warmth of the staff, who always tried to accommodate our every wish.**The Rooms**: Our room was extremely stylishly furnished, with great attention to detail and modern amenities. We were immediately impressed by the mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. The beds in particular were incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights.**The Restaurant**: An absolute highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the hotel's own restaurant. The menu offers a successful mix of regional and seasonal specialties that are prepared to the highest standard. Each dish was a culinary delight where you could taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. We were particularly impressed by the game dishes and the homemade cake for dessert. The service in the restaurant was attentive, friendly and very accommodating - they always made sure that we didn't lack anything.**The surroundings**: The hotel is the perfect starting point for hikes and excursions in the beautiful surroundings of the Harz Mountains. The direct proximity to the Bodetal invites you to take walks along the river, and cultural sights can also be reached in a short time.Conclusion: The Hotel Bodeblick offers much more than just accommodation - it is a place where you feel completely comfortable from the first to the last minute.

Spent a night in the beautiful Hotel Bodeblick. The location of the hotel invites you to hike and switch off.When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the new owners of the hotel and accommodated in a lovingly and modernly renovated single room, from which you have a great view of the hotel's own beer garden and part of the Hexenstieg.The breakfast buffet was great! For a very fair price there was a great selection, plenty of coffee specialties and vegan alternatives were also considered.Despite the dogs and forest-tested hiking boots, the hotel was very clean, the dogs are on a leash in the public areas and were all so well behaved that they weren't noticed at all. 😊The staff was very welcoming and I immediately felt at home.I will definitely visit the Hotel Bodeblick again!

We wanted to stay in the hotel, which is quietly located in the Harz Mountains, over New Year's Eve because we have a small dog and he is experiencing his first New Year's Eve. The hotel was booked and the dog was registered. About a month after booking, an email came that a big New Year's Eve party was taking place there for an additional €139 per person and that the guests were bound to this offer. I'm sorry, what? Unfortunately, not everyone can afford it, regardless of the fact that we have a dog with us and wanted peace and quiet - otherwise we could have stayed in our big city. When I described the problem, they responded nicely that in our case an exception could be made, but we had to be prepared for noise. That's why I canceled the room again. Unfortunately, all the other hotels that we thought were good have now become far too expensive or are fully booked. We were also offered alternatives in the Harz. Unfortunately, I never received any further feedback on this. Too bad.
