A very nice, well-equipped, clean hotel with motivated and very friendly staff. Extensive breakfast (there is something for everyone), cozy restaurant. The only weak point: hot water (showering is a risk, long waiting times for warm water; if it becomes lukewarm after 3-5 minutes, it cools down quickly). Otherwise everything was great! Oh yes: several houses, no elevator. Location in the city center, but still quiet. The beds are very soft (too soft for me).

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the picturesque town of Tangermünde. Our room was very spacious and had romantic furniture that matched the half-timbered backdrop. Breakfast was divided into two groups, which we welcomed as late risers. From 9.30 a.m. we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with everything our hearts desired. The weather allowed us to linger in the courtyard garden afterwards. Great start to the day.

Nice, centrally located hotel. Parking available, 3-4 spaces in the courtyard. Nice courtyard with seating. We had a larger room facing the back street. The bathroom was large. One would choose a time for breakfast, before or after 8.00. We chose before and arrived at 7.40. There were no toppings, empty dishes, and when we asked about it "you should ask someone". Then came refilling... Why would you choose a time if it was completely empty at the tables inside? Everyone sat outside in the Winter Garden/Glashouse.Would love to come back.

I was in Tangermünde for work and stayed at the Hotel Schwarzer Adler for 1 night. I booked an additional night privately for this purpose. It was a bit difficult to combine both bookings so that I don't have to move and the service doesn't have to do so much cleaning. But then it worked. However, the room was in the second building next door. 2 streets from reception and breakfast. When we arrived it was 29°C in the room. There was a decent fan, but it didn't help. The breakfast was good quality and plentiful. But the selection wasn't particularly diverse. I had lunch there too, but I would recommend the restaurant Exempel, down the street, as the portion of roulade was a bit small for me.Tangermünde will definitely be back. But it could definitely be a different hotel next time.

We were there over the weekend with a group of 16 people. Everything was okay and friendly at the reception. Unfortunately the rooms are far too warm. There are no mosquito screens in the windows. So it wasn't recommended to sleep with the window open. The food in the coachman's room was very dry. The schnitzels are deep fried.But the highlight was on Saturday evening. We, the hotel guests, were asked to leave the courtyard at 10 p.m. Although we were asked beforehand whether we could still sit here. And this was also promised. But then the waitress came and asked us to leave the courtyard. The reason being that other hotel guests would otherwise not be able to sleep. When we asked if we could still drink the drinks we ordered there, the waitress said no, they weren't allowed to. So I almost lost faith when I heard this answer. There were other hotel guests in the courtyard who were also sent away and were just as outraged. It's a shame actually. Until then I had thought about whether I would come here again. But after this action it was all over.

Quite suitable for an overnight stay.The guest should be prepared for the fact that "firmness of principles" will almost become a dogma, especially at the reception. - There must be order! Check in 30 minutes before. Never. The receptionist's disciplinary, educational attitude is alienating.Even if the house is full, the guest could be addressed differently.The hotel's central location speaks for itself, as for many others in the city. However, this is thanks to Tangermunde's special location, because there is "nothing" around it, as a travel guide for the Altmark itself puts it.

I had a single room facing the courtyard. Everything great. The room was modern and clean. Bed and bathroom perfect. Breakfast and restaurant everything delicious!
