The hotel was great, the rooms are clean and all necessities are available.The location is near an ubahn and a direct connection to hauptbahnof.I highly recommend itI was worried about the late check in but they offer an auto check-in where u get ur key and code anytime u arrive.The woman in charge is also sweet and helpful.Location is relatively safe for female travelers as it is a central location and the ubahn is active.

I recently stayed at Karolinger Hotel and had an exceptional experience, largely due to the outstanding service provided by the staff. I arrived at the hotel earlier than expected, feeling completely exhausted from my travels. To my great relief, the staff were incredibly polite and accommodating, allowing me to check in early without any hassle.

The room was very good, clean and in good condition.The window opened in two ways and was quite large, which is great for ventilation. Normal and opaque curtains, to avoid the light that enters at 5 in the morning in summer. The automatic check-in is great and they kept my suitcase so I could enjoy the day without carrying it.What I didn't like was the noise of the beds just by touching them. Imagine sitting or turning in them. You can tell that it is old wood and that it will give way sooner or later.The TV, for those who are interested, did not find any channel. I searched by satellite and so on, but nothing. It doesn't affect me, but for those who are essential, it can be a disadvantage.On the other hand, they have a common room with children's toys, snacks, drinks, coffee, etc. They give you a piggy bank and a registry so that you can have all of this at any time. It was useful to me one night when I arrived late.Recommended, although I must say that I was lucky with my room neighbors, I don't know what it would be like if they were noisy.I almost forgot: a nice detail is that they leave you a ticket to use any metro, bus or tram during the days you are staying, so they make your mobility much easier.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and cozy room. The location is also good: close to U-bahn and S-bahn. And only a 30 minute walk from the central station.

In a calm, quiet location. The reception is not always there. The room is small, I didn't have any difficulty since I was alone. The bathroom is better than the rest. You don't have a problem with cleaning either. I might stay again.

Great little hotel. Free public transport card. Close to the tram to the Altstadt. The bicycle could be placed in the courtyard.

I stayed at this hotel, it is quiet and where it is located is also quiet and relatively close to almost everything by tram. What I didn't like was the deception that breakfast is included, they didn't give me breakfast on any day because according to what they gave it if at least 5 guests requested it, and they don't specify that in their booking profile and it's assumed that one pays for a stay with breakfast included and they only hide behind that and don't give it, so you know, even if they say they are going to give you breakfast, it won't be like that if 5 more people don't request it the night before. But regardless of that, they helped me with the location and which trams to take and that was stressful, especially since transportation in Düsseldorf is somewhat complicated.

I was only there for one night but I have to say the room is very tidy. I can't say anything about the staff because I arrived very late. The key system with the code worked perfectly. However, you should oil the entrance door :)

I think you can have a good stay here because the price-performance ratio is actually very good, but the rest of the circumstances didn't work for me...I called again beforehand to make sure that when I received the key for the room, the remote control for the underground car park was also included, and this was confirmed to me. I arrived at half past one in the morning, entered the code and received my key, but no remote control. So I had to look for a parking space in the area, which was very difficult because they were all full. Then I had to walk a long way to the hotel... When I got into the room, the heating was at zero - it was below zero outside - and it was clear that the room hadn't been heated all day. So I spent the night freezing in bed (under normal circumstances this would have been very comfortable and perfect for sleeping). Unfortunately, when the heating went off in the morning, I couldn't sleep anymore because a painter was working right outside my room from eight o'clock onwards, taping and painting all the walls and not very quietly, as I also often hit the door is cracked...

Small, cute hotel right on the Düssel.The room was perfectly fine. Small room, clean, single bed with a wonderfully hard mattress, small toilet with shower.Except in the cupboard... There were still 2 cans of energy drink from the previous one in there...Unfortunately there was no longer breakfast, even though I booked it in June. The stay was now in November.Unfortunately there was no information about breakfast before arrival. Too bad.But due to the hotel's good location, it wasn't a problem to find a café where you could have breakfast. I can recommend Tigges, right around the corner 😉The money from breakfast was transferred back relatively quickly.Service is hardly or not at all visible, please don't misunderstand.When I arrived on Friday the reception was unstaffed, around 2:30 p.m.On Saturday morning I was able to speak to a lady at the reception.The cleaning fairies do their job well, except for the energy cans in the cupboard 😉Accessibility is perfect. 10 minutes by train from the main station and then another 5 minutes on foot from the tram stop to the hotel.Bilk train station can also be reached in 5 minutes on foot.The Bilk Arcaden too.And what I personally, as a train traveler, thought was great was the vrr ticket! Super practical if you really depend on the train and then want to visit a lot of friends in Neuss and Krefeld.The Mitsubishi Hall can also be easily reached on foot through the park.Thank you!

There is a refrigerator with lockable compartments. This is accessible around the clock and free of charge. The location is absolutely great, in 5 minutes you can get to Bilk train station, from where you can get pretty much everywhere, and there is a Netto right around the corner at Karolingerplatz.If you're looking for something simple without a lot of frills, this is the right place for you.

Room was renovated but poorly cleaned. Behind the bedside table there is still rubbish from the previous owners. Bathroom dirty, hair from the previous person in the sink and shower. Shower limescale deposits etc...
