Hotel in the middle of Cologne. Within walking distance of the Cathedral, Chocolate Museum and other museums. Many sights and terraces. On the Rhine, where you can also walk or sit in the sun.Spacious rooms and the beds were comfortable.The rain shower in the bathroom is wonderful. The toilet is in the same room and is a fairly small space.If you want to sleep on time and you need peace and quiet, then close the windows. You are in the middle of a nightlife in Cologne and therefore, at least on weekends, very busy and noisy. It's very nice to sit on a terrace or have something to eat or drink somewhere.The pillows were too thin for me, so I woke up with a pain in my neck and a headache.The breakfast was fine. Very small, without walking direction and illogically laid out, so you sometimes got in each other's way.Furthermore, friendly staff and it was clean.

The hotel is very well situated, a nice scenic walk away from the Kölnmesse (I was on a business trip) but also close to Dom and the Rhine. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The bed is comfortable. Savoury and sweet options for breakfast.

The hotel was difficult to find, as it is in a courtyard accessed by narrow lanes. Even local shop owners and taxi drivers did not know where it was. However, once there, we were pleased with the very good level of service and the varied and substantial breakfast. Our room was quite large but had a lot of wasted space, and was in want of a couple of comfortable chairs and a table. The bathroom was set out strangely, the rest of the bathroom being inaccessible when the shower was in use. Hence the 4 star rating.

Unfortunately we were a bit unlucky with the room. It was clean but tiny and had a sink next to the bed instead of in the bathroom. The breakfast was good and plentiful and the breakfast times were very good. I would like the staff to give you a quick greeting or at least a look up when you enter the foyer instead of staring at the screen. The location, however, was uniquely good!

Room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, but the pillow was not good. The hotel is very centrally located, so it is quite loud at night and early in the morning.

I stayed here for one night. The room was a little small, but I didn't mind it since I was by myself. You can definitely hear a good bit of noise through the walls and windows. If I stayed here at a busier time, the noise might have been hard to deal with. The staff I interacted with were fine, and the location is pretty nice. I did not get the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. As others have mentioned, the place is a little hard to find. With all of that said, I would consider staying here if I'm in Cologne again.

Great hotel in the middle of the city. I booked very quickly and got a good price. Was given a very warm welcome and was more than thrilled with the room. It was a huge room and bathroom with a rain shower, which I really appreciated. However, a bit noisy at night, which is of course due to the good location. I was still able to sleep very well. The breakfast is more than sufficient. Everything your heart desires. Everything from muesli, bread, jam, sausage, eggs and salmon was there. Pretty important for me: the coffee is excellent.I can recommend the hotel in all respects.

The hotel is close to the Rhine and the city center and train station are easily accessible on foot!The room was very narrow, the bed should have been a little further away from the wall!Rooms can be reached via a small elevator, but you can only get into the hotel via a few steps, there is no ramp!When we arrived the room was very dusty/dirty, after the first night the cleaning crew was on the floor, including in our room, the bathroom was cleaned, the bed was made, the dust was still there!I told reception that it should have been cleaned again, the dust was still there!For the price you can expect a clean room!
