We liked the hotel itself; the location is central, but also noisy.The staff: very friendly staff at check-in yesterday afternoon and at the breakfast buffet this morning, but the young gentleman at check-out read every comment, both from the gentleman in front of us, who was dissatisfied with the cleanliness of his room, and from our comment, how a suite is defined, bounce off itself.We rented a suite and got a room. Point. Paying €248 per night for that is quite risky.We will therefore not come back.The cleanliness in our “suite” was okay, as was the equipment, although not above average (fridge without minibar, bathroom without toiletries).The rooms are well soundproofed, you can't hear anything from the hotel itself and you sleep very peacefully.The breakfast buffet (included in the price of the “suite”) leaves nothing to be desired and is beautifully prepared. Very friendly staff there.

Although the hotel is well located, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.|The rooms have been refurbished recently but they are not properly clean.|I counted at least 10 bugs on the floor, curtains and walls.|I do not understand how a hotel in these conditions is even allowed to run a business.

One of the worst hotels ever! The staff was so rude and unprofessional! I have no idea why this hotel has been rated as a 4star one! There was only one elevator for the whole hotel and it didn't work so we had to carry our baggages for three floors!

On the whole room size was ok , toilet size ok . However kettle , coffee maker and table tops were filled with dust . Location was fantastic and right next to train station .

Very nice hotel with great facilities!The train station is right in front of the door, as well as parking options, such as the parking garage.Breakfast was also great with freshly squeezed orange juice.Bed was comfortable, but the rooms were hardly cleaned, hence a star deduction. Lots of dust, bathroom door dirty, toilet lid yellow and dirt on the floor. It's actually a real shame because everything else is so great.We still really liked it

We were in Roermond for the first time. We really liked the hotel. Parking directly in the hotel underground car park at a fair price. Friendly ladies at reception and a nice, bright and clean room welcomed us. The room facing the street was quiet and the breakfast was delicious and extensive. Freshly squeezed orange juice rounded it all off.

Years ago reconstruction of the hotel.Demolished +- 4 years ago. Maybe then 100 years of existence right. Now very luxurious hotel. Personally, I found the previous Hotel under reconstruction; beautiful qwa appearance.P.S. Not entirely sure if it was under Monementen care. Then the Hotel van Roermond!. Now the Restaurant is called Shared; The Lobby. With net tarres. P.s.Roermond has once again become a Hotel City! Just like the Second World War; Roermond was also a hotel city for a long time.The Netherlands 🇱🇺♿💏👑

The room was really not clean. The sink was yellow and the sealant edges of the shower are completely yellow and a lot of dust everywhere. The mattress cover was also broken upon arrival (we received a new one for this). Definitely recommended!

The hotel is very centrally located in Roermond, right next to the train station and not far from the outlet center, about 10 minutes by car. The employees made an effort to speak German, which I found very pleasant. The room has a refrigerator and air conditioning. I still can't recommend this hotel. It started when we checked in that parking cost an additional €6.50 for just one night, which was not noted anywhere before. The hotel has an underground car park. When we went to the room, we noticed that it was very old-fashioned and wasn't really clean either. The carpet on the floor and on the walls was dirty. When we arrived in the room, we noticed that there was a crack in the window. The toilet seat was yellow and the sink was also slightly yellowish. We were often visited by silverfish in the bathroom. The shower does have a rain shower, but it was heavily calcified. The armchairs in the room were worn and dirty, or the backrest was yellow. There was a coffee machine and a kettle in the room, both of which were heavily calcified. The included glasses and cups looked dirty as soon as they were held up to the light. The room also had a refrigerator, which was the highlight and best part of this room. When we wanted to put on our glasses that we had put on the bedside table the night before, they were very dusty in the morning. Through the wall lighting you could see the dust on the wall. The breakfast was anything but tasty. The scrambled eggs tasted like nothing. The sausage wasted carelessly, slapped in front of our eyes by an employee from the kitchen. The sausage looked greasy. The rolls looked like they weren't baked properly, and the croissants looked like they came from the Aldi around the corner and were already two days old. The dishes also had several decades behind them. The waitress didn't notice that the juices were empty or that something else needed to be refilled. When you watched the other guests at the breakfast buffet, all you saw were disgusted faces. The cleaning service put their utensils in the middle of the hallway so that you had to push them to the side before you could walk through. In addition, you weren't greeted by the hotel staff if you ran into them; they seemed rude and dissatisfied. In addition, you could hear in the hallway when someone else went into the room or took a shower. Since the hotel is located directly in Roermond, you could also hear the cars through the closed windows.
