Historic, listed building with charm. Room was great, modern with enough space. Super friendly owner. The price-performance ratio is great! Everything fine!

The modern rooms are well-equipped with large wardrobes, a large bed with bedside tables, a "reception area" with a sofa and table, and a bathroom with a modern shower and other bathroom furniture. Everything is very comfortable and well sealed. You definitely have peace and quiet and don't hear anything from the neighbors or outside. There are very nice hiking trails nearby. They all lead through the beautiful nature of the mountainous region. For example, you can walk to a dam and take a look. There is something to learn on some hiking trails, such as the monk route.Restaurants are also nearby.Very good and balanced breakfast buffet. No defects. In the dining room there is a piano from the British manufacturer "John Brinsmead & Sons" from the 1890s. A true rarity! I wanted to play on it myself but unfortunately it has a few flaws. However, a rarity that you won't find like this. These pianos are very rare! The only thing to complain about is the breakfast times. 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. is a bit too early.

Upon our arrival, everything regarding check-in was via the app, no personal service, which is a shame. The room itself is really dated: our window could not be closed, single glass and no curtains. So you hear everything, and you cannot darken the windows at all.It also smelled really bad in the hallway. A sour smell that you don't want to smell anywhere, and certainly not in a hotel.Leek or dirty bedding was still in the hallway. There was also no trace of the kettle. Nor information where you could go for a nice meal.We therefore decided not to have breakfast. With some minor adjustments this would be a much nicer hotel.

Definitely a water machine or at least 1 liter of water in every room.Price performance - ok. Cheapest in the region, to that point.Stand -25sqm, fact - max 12-15sqmI don't understand why the hotels in North Rhine-Westphalia are so expensive.

So you don't expect much for that price. That is clear. And I'll start with the positive: the WiFi is great, there's a mega TV in the room and the room is really clean. Equipped with a small desk and kettle, everything you need is there.Unfortunately it is incredibly loud and bright. We were in room number 11. There are still single-glass windows installed here. They haven't been around for a hundred years. This means you can hear everything from outside and all the cold and heat from outside goes through immediately. And the hotel itself is also loud. Of course… the building is very old and there are still wooden ceilings. You can hear every step, every voice from above and next door. And from outside. Every car, every cricket, every voice. And then there are the curtains. If you don't use opaque ones, why not at least use dark colors? Because it doesn't seem to interest you. The mattress is a foam mattress. There are countless lumps on the surface. Because it is not interested, thieving will not be exchanged. Sorry, but that doesn't work at all. There are exactly three parking spaces and it is not described where else you can, should or can park. Because it doesn't interest. All of this is obviously simply a cash cow and the guest plays no role. Sorry but definitely never again.

We had rented rooms for a private party so I can't say anything about the rooms. The rented rooms were rustic, clean and cozy. The employees were prompt and very friendly. All in all it went great.

Everything fit and worked well, a simple process from reservation to check-in. The room was very clean and quiet, and the breakfast didn't miss anything either. I can recommend it.

Worst hotel I've ever been! Location right on the street, everything was super old, hotel room musty, very small bathroom (one person can only turn once), toilet still with cistern, shower small and with plastic shower walls, warm water only came after a few minutes, room very noisy, windows Not tight and covered in mold, windows couldn't be darkened because there were only thin curtains, very noisy in the hotel in the evenings, breakfast with baked rolls,…Never again!!!!

Very good hotel, this is a treasure that I discovered after such a long journey. The only downside is that you can't bring breakfast when booking! I want to try his breakfast
