The rooms are so poorly soundproofed that I could have slept directly in the stairwell. Still 3 stars because I sleep deeply, the breakfast buffet is rich and the staff is friendly. Rooms are clean.

The hotel was amazing. Really nice foyer and bar area, with cool furniture and nice vibe. Receptionist were welcoming. The rooms were very nice too, beds comfortable. Buffet breakfast was varied and of quality. Absolutely recommend the quinoa jogurt!Would definitely recommend

Hotel is clean and nice. But it was impossible for me to sleep because there was a metalic gutter just upper the window of my room (109) and the noise making by the rain was very high and unsupportable. And worst is when I complain in the morning to the reception, I had very unfriendly/unpleasant behaviour, they seems not believing me. Although I see afterwards that isolation issues came often in the comments. Same unfriendly reaction at the breakfast when I asked for help and pure black tea that they don’t have.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the hotel was, when we checked in. For the price I was not expecting such a good quality hotel. In fact it had been cheaper than staying in the Ibis hotel in the Train station. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were professional and helpful. Definitely recommended.

The rooms are nice and big but the shower is horrible. Shower head is in an awkward spot, won't stay attached and has to be held with one hand when showering. Half glass also leaves the floor covered in water. Location is amazing

I'm writing this to encourage the hotel management to take better care of the property because I would love to come back:The reception was super friendly. We were given room 509 in Düsseldorf.Unfortunately the rest was bad (at first!). It was a cold day and the window was tilted (which is generally not a bad thing for ventilating odors).Unfortunately the heating didn't work. Neither the classic radiators under the window, nor the heater in the bathroom and the heating function of the air conditioning only blew cold air.We were told it would take a while for the heating to 'come on'.But nothing worked and apparently there was a reduction in personnel, because there was no building technician in the house and the (nice) receptionist was alone. The building technology is missing anyway, because the room was quite 'familiar' and could use a few quirks in many places.Even worse: the sink in room 509 broke and apparently no one thought it necessary to replace it.The (I have to emphasize again: nice) receptionist easily switched us to room 220. There were no problems there, the heating was running, the room was in good condition.I would come back at any time because the location is great.But I would want to see the room before moving in.I can only advise the Amano group to invest a little and protect the hotel from being "entrenched" and "abandoned".Unfortunately, room 509 was in stark contrast to the atmosphere of the lobby and bar and you immediately think of 'hui on the outside, yuck on the inside'.Nevertheless, I would come back, depending of course on the daily rate (and with the Amano group it can be very cheap and very expensive)p.s.: The free minibar - as a replacement for the bar that was closed for renovation - was a great service.There was no kettle in the room at all.p.p.s.: The minibar in room 509 was broken or switched off, the drinks were warm. Room 509 is therefore quite a need for care

Price/performance at the hotel was really great! We were there with a child during the renovation phase of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and you barely noticed anything. The room was clean. -> We found nothing to complain about! :)

We stayed during the "renovation" period of the hotel. Unfortunately, we were already warned about this after making the reservation and found out exactly what it meant at the hotel. The hotel and the renovation process.The rooms are dirty, this is the biggest minus, for which I will give this rating. My white blanket underneath was yellow. Everything was dirty, from the floor to the curtains, which were "greasy" to the touch, the same thick layer of "grease" on the hair dryer, the floor, etc.Phew!

Even though the hotel is currently being renovated, we were still warmly welcomed and looked after. The room was very nice and clean, also much larger than expected. The hotel is located on a busy road, but you don't notice much of it. top!

It was the perfect place for me to start in Düsseldorf and also move back. My room was on the main street, but if all the windows are closed you can sleep well in the very comfortable beds. Thanks for free coffee and minibar during the renovations. Thanks for the giraffes in the entrance area. For me it was the perfect match. 🙂

The location is simply great. It is so central that we were able to do (almost) everything on foot. There are enough restaurants in the immediate vicinity and the price/performance is also great.
