I was a guest at the B&B Oberhausen for 2 nights. The stay was more than satisfactory and was completely sufficient for my needs. I found the stay very relaxing as I was able to use everything easily thanks to the online check in and out. I was even allowed to get into the room 45 minutes early and got a drink for free. Everything was great, I only see room for improvement at the breakfast buffet in terms of abundance and access, because it was very full at the buffet, so you had to wait for ages to get a seat. Both at the buffet and in the dining room. I would give it 7.5 out of 10.

The location to CentrO and the attractions is great.The breakfast is clear and only partially suitable for smaller children.The bad rating applies in particular to family room 519. The toilet often fails to flush. Most of the time it works again after 10 minutes, but not always. The reception didn't know about the problem, although according to the cleaning lady it had been going on for a year.And occasionally the bathroom smelled for no reason. I don't know if it came from the drains or the fan....

The positive aspects are the excellent location and a very friendly welcome. The 3 bed room was okay. However, I don't like carpet in hotel rooms. The mattress on the single bed was totally frayed and the bathroom needed new silicone joints. Breakfast selection was okay. However, the rolls were made of cardboard. You could really get more quality out of it at low cost.

Family rooms are very small and not recommended for 4 people. Only 2 sockets in the room, unfortunately no fridge as standard in other hotels.Our bathroom was very dirty and there was hair on the "fresh" bed cover.In the morning at 0900-0930 a.m. the cleaning staff was shouting through the hallway, so it was not possible to continue sleeping. Likewise, people simply entered the room despite the sign while they were still in bed.For the high price (and without breakfast) our expectations were very disappointed.

We were in Oberhausen for a long weekend and all the excursion destinations were around the CentrO Oberhausen. Everything was within a 5 to 10 minute walk. The room was nice and clean. We had a family room with a view of the street and the CentrO. But you hardly heard any street noise. In the morning there was a small breakfast. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back.

The area for the breakfast buffet is too small. There was a long line because everyone had to get their coffee from the machine. Little tip. Coffee pot on every table which makes the situation relaxed.

Very nice hotel with an actually ideal location, but with a very bad parking situation, because the hotel parking spaces are far from enough. Yes, there are enough parking spaces in the nearby Centro parking garage, but we were lucky that there was a concert there that weekend and we were stuck in a traffic jam in the parking garage for a good half an hour while looking for a parking space!However, the hotel itself is great and the staff there are usually very nice. I would particularly like to highlight a young employee who offered us his parking space on the day we arrived and was also very helpful in other ways. The morning crew, on the other hand, was not as committed. It's a shame that you always have to realize that some great employees are doing their best and that can be ruined by a few "morning grouches". However, the rooms were all clean and well-equipped and the breakfast was sufficient to start the day well strengthened.Overall, however, due to the parking situation, we would look for a different hotel next time.However, if you don't have a problem with that, we can only recommend this hotel, especially if you're planning on visiting the Centro anyway.
