We booked 2 rooms for one night through Booking com. Upon arrival we had to pay for the rooms immediately. The area was not very inviting, the garden was overgrown. The rooms were on the second floor, we had to carry our luggage up the stairs, there is no elevator. It was extremely warm in the stairwell, everything seemed unkempt, there were cobwebs everywhere, the windows were blind, the plants were wilted and dusty, the furniture was old and as if it had been abandoned.This should continue in our rooms, overall dirty and run down! We complained to the reception, where we were only given an email address where we could file a complaint, the money couldn't be refunded to us, maybe we would receive a voucher for one night in a Dormero Hotel. Nobody looked at the rooms with us, nobody was sent to clean the rooms. The breakfast room was also totally disgusting, cobwebs everywhere, even next to the coffee cups and the coffee machine. The entire hotel complex is dirty, dark, run down, old-fashioned and musty. The house needs to be totally renovated! It was unreasonable for us to spend the night here; we felt extremely uncomfortable.The breakfast was also extremely poor. I can't remember ever staying in such a run-down hotel.

The hotel and its furniture are extremely worn out, there was a huge flood in the bathroom because the water in the shower didn't drain, the soap holder was falling apart into its individual parts, the shower pipe wasn't attached properly.The worst thing, however, is the cleanliness!! The hotel is totally filthy everywhere, we were really disgusted and couldn't eat a bite at breakfast. Cobwebs in every corner of the hotel, centimeters of dust on the skirting boards, previous stains on the bathroom tiles, crusty remains in the water basin, a long hair on the room furniture, a dusty wardrobe, (blood?) stains on the bathroom door and on the radiator.I have never seen anything like this in my life, it is incomprehensible to me how a hotel like this can still be operated, let alone receive a positive review. We were shocked. Unbelievable, never again!

Excellent! 💎We were guests at the DORMERO Hotel Düsseldorf from September 25th/27th, 2022 and were thrilled!The room (number 106 for us) was very inexpensive and there were no extra charges for our little four-legged friend, which we also thought was great.The staff (who all wear red shoes) were very accommodating and friendly.Just pay attention. 😉The room itself was first class. 👍Great layout, spacious and, in addition to a huge bed, it had an equally large TV on the wall, which really deserves the name home cinema.The curtains also allowed the room to be completely darkened, so that there was no chance of being woken up prematurely by daylight.Another great addition was that you could raid the minibar for free and you don't have to check out until 12:00 p.m.All in all, we are very enthusiastic about this hotel, which is part of a chain, and will definitely come back!Edit:We made good on our threat and checked in again at the Domero Hotel Düsseldorf from August 9th to 11th, 2024.This time we stayed in the next building (room no. 12).In our opinion, this wasn't quite as nice and spacious as last time, but it still fully met our expectations.The contents of the minibar can still be plundered free of charge and our four-legged friend can also stay overnight again free of charge.At check-in, the "Passierschein A38" (who doesn't know it from Asterix & Obelix...) was briefly supplemented with the name of the registration form here.Because the Hubertus Brotherhood shooting festival was taking place next door at the same time, we received a little attention in our room as “compensation”.Again, a very nice gesture.Once again the room could be completely darkened and the beds were again very good in terms of sleep quality.Late check-out is also only at 2:00 p.m. on Sundays and public holidays.We can still recommend the Domero without reservation. 👍

Decent hotel and friendly staff. Comfortable room and even complimentary drinks in the mini bar. No tea and coffee making facilities however. |Learnt to my cost that this hotel is not suitable as a one night stop from the airport, it cost me €90 for the return journey!

Hotel for business stays, absolutely fine for the location in the countryside and the price. The headquarters in Berlin had mixed up a few things when making the reservation. The on-site team, Ms. Mittendorf and Mr. Ernstberger, reacted professionally and accommodatingly and put everything in order. The commitment of the team in Düsseldorf Unterbach is worth this praise.

Our stay at the DORMERO Hotel Düsseldorf was satisfactory overall, but there were a few points that could be improved. If you arrive from the wrong side, it's a bit problematic to drive into the hotel's paid parking lot. However, there are enough side streets where you can easily find free parking.The reception was very friendly, although spoken directly in English, which can be difficult for those who don't speak English. Even after answers in German, communication continued in English. For me, who understands English well but speaks poorly, this was a bit challenging. Registration was quick and we received two tickets for our room in the next building.The room was sufficient for our stay, with a nice bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Normally I have difficulty sleeping in strange beds, but here I was able to fall asleep quickly. There was also a television in the room with which you could watch normal television. Unfortunately the room had no air conditioning or ventilation, which can be uncomfortable on warm summer days. A positive thing to mention is that you get two free drinks from the minibar on the first day.The hotel is trying to position itself as “fancy” with the hashtag #StayFancy. However, I don't think it's particularly fancy to use paper documents for breakfast, especially if the environment is important to you. Either proper tablecloths should be used or the paper supports should be left out. The breakfast buffet was sufficient, neither too big nor too small, and offered something for both vegetarians and vegans. Juices were available in bottles, and for coffee there was a coffee machine or a pot of filter coffee available.Overall, we were happy with our stay and plan to come back to the fair next year.

Actually a beautiful hotel. Close to Düsseldorf. Even with a fitness center and sauna. Unfortunately I had to leave without having accomplished anything because I couldn't be offered a clean room. A few animals were even still alive.They promised me a credit the next day. Days later, when I asked, I was told that I wouldn't get my money back because it was a non-cancellable rate. 😂Unfortunately, the hotel manager doesn't understand what's wrong here.
