The reception was very warm and friendly. The restaurant wasn't busy at all but the Italian chef conjured up a Viennese schnitzel of the highest quality for us. With a very great and tasty salad. If you missed it, it's your own fault. If I lived here, it would have been my favorite restaurant.

We drank 4 hot chocolates in our coffee. 1. The cups were dirty and the stains had dried.2. It took an outrageously long time.3. It was cocoa from a tetra pack, probably warmed up in the microwave.

Apparently there was a change of ownership. When we arrived, the young girl at the reception fetched the boss, who didn't speak a word of German. After some searching in the system, we were assigned our rooms. The room was clean but dated. The extra bed, which we luckily didn't need, had collapsed. There weren't enough towels for both of us. The entire standard in the bathroom was from another time. The fan ran loudly in front of our room until 10 p.m., making it difficult to go to bed earlier. The shower holder in our son's room was broken.The entire interior was from another time... and no WiFi.The breakfast horrified us, one type of cheese, two types of sausage, no Ojuice mixture from Aldi or Lidl as Ojuice, rolls somehow baked themselves... that is disproportionate to the price. There are no restaurants here.The best thing is that the building is not falling apart and the new owners have a chance to revitalize the hotel, but a lot would have to be changed to do so...then the charm of the castle hotel can be revived.

We were looking for a room in Polle for one night, so we came to this house.I deliberately write house and not hotel. The rooms are completely from the 70s, at least that's what the furnishings look like. Here are a few examples: The curtains were half torn off the curtain rod, the television didn't have a remote control, it wouldn't have worked anyway because the antenna plugs were off. Shower enclosure broken, no hairdryer!!, etc. We have made the operator aware that we are not prepared to pay €82 for this hovel! We don't have it either. Breakfast the next morning was also okay.Never again.

Sitting down is usually a massacre. The rooms are not cleaned, rubbish has to be taken out yourself. Towels are changed once a week if you say so 🥹

Good thing we didn't read the reviews beforehand, otherwise we wouldn't have gone here.The food takes a reasonable amount of time and tastes really good. The portions are sufficient and the service is very friendly. We ordered schnitzel and pizza.The only small drawback was that the draft beer was not connected.It's worth stopping here.Location top!

New owner as we noticed but everything is exactly as before. Food disastrous and the bar not as it should be. We have also heard that the owner is a total disaster towards the employees. Something like that can only go wrong. It's a shame we have this place! And current reviews are also deleted here, that says it all! Unfortunately no “minus” stars can be awarded. We would have plenty of that on hand.

We were on the Weser cycle path and had planned an overnight stay here and booked it through Booking.com. We only read the underground reviews on site and were irritated.Yes, the rooms are simple and not very big, but I don't expect that given the price, I expect them to be clean and functional: 1 star ⭐️The staff welcomed us in a friendly manner, showed us the bicycle garage and gave us the room keys. All of this took 10 minutes including taking the bikes away and unloading the luggage: 2 stars ⭐️⭐️The long-awaited shower was hot, the shower head could be locked on the wall in the holder provided and the towels were fluffy and clean: 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️Despite everything, we dared to go into the restaurant and ordered 3 different dishes plus dessert. Everything was hot, tasty and plentiful. No burnt schnitzel, endless waiting times or even ignorance. Finally, there was a schnapps on the house and a little chat before we fell into bed full and satisfied: 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️All in all, perfect for a stopover on the Weser cycle path, as it is centrally located in the small town of Polle, the pharmacy and savings bank are around the corner: 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Attention motorcyclists,We ate there on August 13th, 21, even 1 star is flattering for this restaurant. The schnitzels we ordered were clearly burnt, the hunter's sauce, which even someone with a mushroom allergy can "eat well", the mushroom content is so low and the fries were lukewarm and not cooked through. All this for 13.50 is completely overpriced! The non-alcoholic Alster that we ordered seemed stale and couldn't be said to be a flower.

So first of all, they let you order first instead of telling you in advance that today there would only be pizza and neck steak. Then the wrong drink was brought. The waiting time for 2 pizzas was definitely too long because there was no other guest there apart from us. It was really tasty to eat If the pizza wasn't available then the kitchen and restaurant were closed early on and in the end you had to calculate the bill yourself because the waitress took it for granted that you paid together, so it's no longer recommended

We were already warned by the numerous negative reviews, but we didn't think the visit would be so horrible. Below are our negative and (positive) impressions:PRO: Friendly service(Unfortunately that was it)Cons:1. It takes 30 minutes for both picking up the drinks and serving them. lasted. Far too long for us.2. Being served large drinks even though we ordered small ones.3. The salad had a slight perfume note.4. Despite ordering fried potatoes, fries came.5. We also ordered cranberries, but they were still served.6. Fries were hard like chips.7. There is no way to dry your hands in the toilet and it smells like urine.8. There was a lot of screaming and arguing coming from the kitchen. In retrospect it turned out that the chef had made a mistake. Maybe one reason for the horrible food.9. Twice we were tried to serve something wrong that we didn't order.In summary, this restaurant/hotel is very nice from the outside and also the beer garden. But the service is very sloppy, but friendly. The food wasn't great either, but it was edible. Let's see how the food digests. The hotel definitely has potential for improvement. We won't come again for a while...

If you need frustration, want to get your own ice cream, want to have a waitress who doesn't know what ice cream they sell and can't manage to bring you 2 coffees and a cola after 45 minutes... If you want all of that, I recommend this restaurant/ hotel
