Guesthouse in a rural idyll. There is a great breakfast here. Very warm and cozy dining room, with a fireplace at the back. Affordable rooms for every occasion. Party service from the chef.

This guesthouse is a real gem! Very nice hosts!The breakfast buffet is very tasty and rich.The 3-course dinner includes delicious dishes freshly prepared by the chef.The surroundings are very rural, quiet and wonderful for relaxing.It's a pleasure to come back here!

A small guesthouse. Rooms are ok. It is very quiet at night. The breakfast buffet is very plentiful. In the evening the 3-course menu is rich in variety and would have earned 1 star. The boss cooks personally. Gladly again.

We stayed here as a couple for a long weekend.We chose the accommodation in order to visit the three world heritage sites in Corvey, Hildesheim and the Fagus Works.We opted for half board.Our assessment: clean and well-furnished rooms. The location is quiet and the hosts are warm and passionate about their job.A small example: we don't eat meat and dinner was adjusted especially for us without any lead time.The breakfast is also great and very varied.Absolutely clear recommendation!

Very nice place in small and quiet village. Clean and comfortable, there is all you need for your stay: dinners available to order, tea and coffee available on hall, on order available lunchbox. Staff speak weak English or only german but is very helpful and we get ewerything that we needed.

PICTURE BOOK: A country inn straight out of a picture book. We had booked with friends for a long weekend:Warm welcome, well-kept ambience befitting a country inn. Cozy rooms with balcony, dining room, winter garden and beautiful sun terrace, tastefully decorated rooms…….HIGHLY exquisite home cooking “at the best”!! Yes, exactly, with an exclamation mark – PRAISE AND RECOGNITION FOR THAT.Price performance is second to none = it couldn't be better grade 1.0.Plus parking AND absolute peace in the middle of the Teutoburg Forest and Weser Mountains. . Externsteine, Hameln, Hermann Monument and, and, and…AND, because it is centrally located, all sights can be reached by car in about half an hour……….Dear Ridder family, “thank you very much for a weekend, so nice and hospitable. I felt welcomed like “back then” when, as a “little boy” I was allowed to visit my aunt and uncle in the Harz with my parents – thank you again for that – we will definitely be back, but then by bike!P.s. The wine list is small but EXCELLENT!
