I often go to Rheda-Wiedenbrück for work and am also a guest at the hotel. The rooms, I've had different ones, were always clean. The furnishings are old and show signs of wear, but are still functional. The location is quiet. The breakfast, which is described as “Continentales”, has been significantly upgraded. The table is lovingly and invitingly set. There are fresh rolls from the bakery, a small selection of sausage and cheese, Nutella, jam, honey…As much coffee as you likeUpon request you can also get tea, different types, water or juice, or like my colleague, another roll.Since I am a vegetarian and this was brought up, my breakfast was immediately changed. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised at what a breakfast for 7.50 euros could contain. Given the price and the selection, my colleague could understand why the breakfast egg was not included. The staff is friendly and you feel accepted when you express your wishes.Since the change in tenants, I see a new positive change every time I stay at the hotel.Dear team from the country inn, keep it up

I don't even know where to start with my review. I'll start with the room. It's dirty. Thick layers of dust on the phone and other objects, stains on the toilet and toilet seat, hair in the shower. Speaking of the shower, it has next to no pressure, which makes it impossible to wash yourself thoroughly. There are huge stains on the carpets, rooms that are already equipped with laminate already have clear damage. Shower fittings fall off, tip over, turn away because they are simply no longer tight. In bed you lie like in a hammock and it creaks and cracks with every movement, which makes it impossible to have a halfway peaceful sleep. Unfortunately, watching television was impossible at times because the television simply didn't work. When you open the closet, you decide to leave your things in your suitcase to minimize the risk of ending up with any critters in your underwear. As an excuse for the more than dilapidated condition of the rooms: "Rome wasn't built in a day." Okay, but fitting 2 out of 8 rooms with laminate in 2 years is not an impressive achievement. The rest has also remained old.For breakfast. There are counted 2 rolls for everyone. There is coffee to drink. No juice, no water, just coffee.A colleague mentioned an egg for breakfast, and it was then explained to us that the stove is not the friend of the lady who is responsible for breakfast. Surely you should be able to boil a few eggs?!In the end, it's not possible to drive to a 10-hour assembly day still hungry, but rolls like that cost 30 cents. Then over breakfast you can hear that our employer is responsible for her niece(?) going bankrupt, which I think is a big lie.Another lie is emergency exit signs hanging over locked doors. In addition, the exit is not a panic door, i.e. it opens inwards. In addition, not all rooms are equipped with a smoke detector. One evening there was a bunch of keys with all the keys for all the rooms etc. in my door. When I handed it in in the morning I didn't even hear a thank you.I advise everyone to look for another hotel.

I was probably a little unlucky with the carpet in my room, everything else was okay.

A hotel that is getting old. That's a nice way to describe it as run down and dirty. There is certainly no investment in service of any kind or value preservation in this property. It seems more as if the last euros are being squeezed out before actual expiry does the rest. The beds looked cleanly made. The rest hadn't seen a cleaning cloth for a long time, which is a disaster in the bathroom. The carpets in the room and in the hallway were totally stained. The whole facility appears unkempt.Since we didn't have time to complain, we stuck it out for one night. So it's better to stay away from booking. There are better hotels for the price!

Contrary to other announcements, the inn is closed and only rents out rooms for celebrations. These are directly adjacent to the bedrooms, which are separated by the simplest cardboard doors. Because of the noise until 5 a.m., no possibility of sleeping. No contact person available on site, no call back to inquiries. The only thing I'm saying is that the owner(s) won't be available for the next three months (I'm kidding myself). We strongly (!) advise against booking due to the poor price/performance ratio...By the way: It was possible to contact us before booking and we were kindly informed that we were welcome to bring the dog along if it was quiet and didn't disturb the other guests... he couldn't sleep either, if he had barked all night NO ONE would have heard it (we don't either). If you wanted, you could have fairly pointed out a celebration... so it's definitely just a rip off...
