The reason is the location in a pedestrian zone. The parking space behind the house costs extra. You can also get to the hotel from the parking lot. And that's where our first impression begins. When we opened the door and had to go up the stairs - no elevator at the back only at the front - we smelled the mold. The front entrance also smells of mold. You don't smell anything in the rooms. We were there in the summer and the young neighbors sat happily with company on their balcony until after midnight. It was difficult to fall asleep because the window had to be left open in the heat. There was no air conditioning. The rooms are small and the bathroom is old. I find the standard of a youth hostel to be higher and more than half cheaper. The staff had no part in my negative review. It's the rich hotel tenant who doesn't care and has no idea about tenancy law.I will not stay there again and I cannot recommend the hotel as the mold will continue to spread.Bad Pyrmont surprised me. As beautiful as the park is, many old residences in the middle and on the pedestrian zone are falling into disrepair. The audience is older than average, which suited us better given our age.Next time I'd rather go to Rinteln or Lemgo.

Rooms modernly furnished and clean, bathroom but much older, small balcony, which you couldn't use because the artificial grass carpet was completely soaked. Reception and staff are friendly but seem slightly overwhelmed and slow in processing check-in and issuing spa cards. All in all it was okay but we are not planning a second visit there.

clean room, good mattresses! a bit narrow, and unfortunately damn cold.In the evening I thought that the heating was lukewarm and needed a while to get comfortably warm. When I came into my room at 9 p.m. the heating was still only lukewarm and the room was quite cold. Unfortunately, there was no one left where I could contact.Even when we checked out in the morning there was no one at the reception. Other guests also said their room was cold. It's a shame, otherwise everything was fine

So where do you start here, I think one star is too many. In my opinion the condition is bottomless and scents cannot be called a hotel. Starting with mold/water stains in the room, to a bathroom that is unworthy of humans, I would even go that far. I will add pictures to this review that I think speak for you.

Bad Pyrmont is a health resort with a lot of restaurants and cafés, but it's not exactly cheap either. I lived here 45 years ago and I have to say the place has developed into a disadvantageThe tennis court no longer exists and is now a barren desert. And in the golf courseAt that time there was a good café with very good offers. Here the spa guests and their relatives have visitorsgladly stoppedThat no longer exists today.A pity !!Back then you could really relax hereNow there is only a small tin hut for entry andGolf club rentalYou can probably get beer and cold drinks here tooThe golf course is only open on two or three days

Small and familiar, inconspicuously located in the middle of the town center. Great beds, very quiet. Great breakfast. Nice personel.

Nice, modern room with TV and Sky receiver, the bathroom was a bit small for me, a corpulent guest. Breakfast was delicious and very extensive for €10.
