Great hotel with a great service staff in the restaurant, friendly and accommodating. In “the VIEW” as well. Absolutely friendly and without any hassle. The breakfast is rich and caters for every taste. The view over the city is phenomenal.The room, especially the bathroom, was bright, modern and clean. The wellness area is a bit small, but ok at 80-85°C. A little infusion agent in the water would be helpful.Very short distances to the pedestrian zone and the spa area with the salt pans. Wonderful hotel. My stay was a great pleasure.Beautiful room with the very well presented bathtub. The breakfast buffet was also quite good, although I would have liked to have had more alternatives/vegan or vegetarian products.Otherwise very satisfied and recommended 🙏🏽

All in all a clean, nice hotel.We were warmly welcomed and the bed was very comfortable.A bit too much blanket for the temperature, but that's a matter of taste.The breakfast was very varied and delicious.The breakfast lady was very nice and concerned about the well-being of the guests.We booked the hotel specifically because of the wellness area, which was small but nice and clean.As explained at the reception, there was a bag hanging in our bathroom for use in the wellness area. It contained two towels, one of which was dirty. There were no bathrobes, you could have picked them up at the reception.So without, but armed with towels from the bathroom, we went into the basement.The wellness area is beautifully designed and various loungers are available.Unfortunately no blankets, pillows or replacement towels to make you comfortable.The plan was to first take a shower and then go for a swim.Since the pool was quite cool (the board said 28.5 degrees, which it never was), heat it up a little in the sauna first.We chose the milder one, but unlike what was written on the door, it was just under 85 degrees.After a cold shower we made it into the pool.Unfortunately there were no drinks or cups for water, and no possibility of ordering anything in the wellness area. Second round, another sauna.This should have 80 or maybe 85 degrees, the second number was missing.Now here too the thermometer showed 95 degrees.So we used the wellness area, but it wasn't great.Service for the wellness area 1 out of 5 stars

Unfortunately, even with a little distance, you can't find a good word to say about the Lippschen Hof: after a long journey, we were informed at check-in that wedding celebrations would be taking place at the hotel at the weekend, which is why we only had a slot for breakfast between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. would be free. The breakfast room would only be free until 9:30 a.m., as the rooms would have to be prepared after that and the later slots would already be allocated to the company in question. Both we and the couple next to us at check-in couldn't believe it. It was clearly signaled to us that we were tolerated rather than welcomed that weekend. Second class guests, so to speak. Given that you pay almost €600 for 3 nights, this is a real indictment. We were kindly offered the option of canceling. Great, that's what you like to hear in the evening after 7 p.m. and several hundred kilometers of travel... and there was no effort on the part of the staff to compensate for the clearly unsuccessful situation in any way. Corresponding information in advance via email that the much-advertised breakfast is only available to a limited extent or not at all to the extent advertised (until 10:30 a.m. or until 11 a.m. on Sundays) seems to be asking too much. All in all, a really miserable start to a relaxing wellness weekend.Dear Lippischer Hof: if you are not able to maintain regular operations to the satisfaction of everyone in addition to celebrations, do not allocate the remaining rooms. We will not recommend you and hereby advise against staying with you. Service and customer satisfaction are only practiced here in very measured doses. Sad.
