It is a small 2.5 star hotel, right in the old town. Location is optimal. We paid 218.00 euros for 3 nights with half board. Dinner is solid home cooking and breakfast has everything (different types).Sausage, 3 types of cheese, fruit and natural yoghurt, boiled eggs, small fruit platter). There is also multivitamin juice and water, as well as 1 pot of coffee or tea per table. I sometimes wonder what some people expect for the price paid, but for us, who usually stay in high-priced hotels, it was absolutely fine. The rooms were simple but very clean. You have to bring a hairdryer, which is not standard in 2.5 star hotels. The staff is very friendly and gives good tips for excursions. Everything in the hotel is closed from 8 p.m., but we know that and Wernigerode offers a variety of options in the evening to end the evening comfortably.

The hotel room is clean and in order, breakfast is completely sufficient for the price, even if it's baked rolls, it's right in the city center and for a 5 day vacation 130€ it couldn't be better, completely fine for me

In the middle of a side street in the pedestrian zone. Rooms clean and middle class of furnishings. Breakfast simple, good selection of cold cuts. We would book here again and again.

A small, nice, clean family hotel highly recommended. Around the corner is the shopping mile with many shops. The hotel is of course inexpensive and we liked the food. You should love simplicity and not expect luxury. We were there for a week and it was nice.👍💃🥰

We stayed at this Hotel Harz in Wernigerode with 2 families for 7 days. The hotel is very well located in the center and can be reached on foot in just a few steps. Very good shopping mile in the middle of lovingly historic half-timbered houses.A secure, affordable parking lot is about 400 m away on foot.The hotel has an elevator, the rooms are clean and tidy, the food is varied, sufficient and very tasty. We felt very comfortable all around.The staff/team is very friendly and niceThere are many sights in the surrounding area and are easy to reach by car, bus and train.We will come back and definitely recommend it.Many thanks to the entire team/staff. Simple hotel, clean room and bathroom. Good breakfast and hot dinner. Very friendly and prompt staff. Right in the city center. About 50m to the square and pedestrian zone. Unfortunately there are no hotel parking spaces. Large parking lot 2 streets away. (Parking space next to the house belongs to the other hotel!) But an unbeatable price-performance ratio (accommodation, breakfast and dinner). We'd love to come back.

The hotel has a good location and the staff is friendlyThe hotel has no Wi-Fi, no card payment, the rooms are simple, no soap dispensers, no hairdryer, the mattresses are poor. The breakfast is poor, no white bread, no scrambled eggs or similar. It is not recommended.

We spent a long weekend here and were very happy with the hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the place. After a few meters you are in the pedestrian zone.The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and functional. The only criticism is that the curtains don't provide any real blackout and it was quite bright in the room at night.We had half board and there was nothing to complain about at breakfast or dinner.The price-performance ratio is unbeatable!If you expect a five-star standard for the extremely low price, you can't help it.

The hotel is almost on the pedestrian zone. The staff was great. We spent a wonderful week. The price-performance ratio is very good. With the guest card you can actually leave the car behind. The bus connections are well organized. We would like to come back because we haven't seen everything yet. We would like to thank the nice team again.

We spent 6 days here and were completely satisfied, price, performance and location unbeatable. Rooms were well heated and very comfortable, everything you needed was there (the only thing missing was a hook to hang up your jackets in the hallway).Daily room cleaning and towel change.What took some getting used to was that you were seated at a table with other guests, whether you wanted to or not. Breakfast sufficient. Dinner was 3 courses, it was always very tasty and freshly cooked, you had the choice between 2 main courses.2 hour parking space in front of the hotel, parking garage too expensive. Parking lot about 400 m away, monitored by cameras and cheaper than the parking garage.

The hotel is ideally located, yet quiet, close to the beautiful, cozy center.Very friendly staff, dog-friendly house.Breakfast sufficient, dinner 3 course menu based on good home cooking.Price-performance unbeatable.We are happy to recommend the hotel and its staff. :)))

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and our expectations were exceeded. When we booked, we were aware that it was a simple hotel with no frills. That's why I can't fully understand some of the reviews. You know in advance that it is There is no hotel parking lot. We use the parking garage, which was less than 500 m away. Since the hotel is right in the center and everything was within walking distance, the car was left in the parking garage. Our room was completely sufficient. We only stayed there Sleep on.The bathroom was completely sufficient. Since it was clear in advance that there was no hairdryer, it was just put in the luggage. I don't understand why one has to criticize the lack of it. It should also be clear to everyone that There is no WiFi in the hotel if you read the facilities in advance. For us it wasn't important as we were there for a holiday and just wanted to explore the beautiful surroundings. Now about the food. Some were probably expecting a buffet like in the hotel 5 star hotel. The two of us didn't pay €190 for 3 nights with half board and didn't expect such good food. Breakfast was served as a buffet with fresh rolls, bread, boiled eggs, juice, muesli, cornflakes, quark, sweet spreads , cheese platter (4 types) and sausage platter (at least 8 types). In the evening you could choose between 2 dishes, with starter soup and dessert. If you look at the price-performance ratio, it was more than reasonable. We liked it and it was sufficient. The staff was always friendly and asked if everything was OK.We traveled with a dog and everything went smoothly.As we said goodbye today, we were once again rewarded with a wonderful view of the Brocken from our hotel room.We would love to come back and have already booked for the Advent season to enjoy the beautiful Christmas market.

Top location, unfortunately no hotel parking spaces, opposite only for short stays up to 2 hours, food sufficient... it's not a 5 star hotel either, friendly staff although a bit special :-)Beds okay, unfortunately there was no hook for the coat rack...Hotel is definitely recommended!!!
