Our double room was nice, great view of the Hochheideturm.The furnishings are very good, comfortable mattresses, 2 chairs and 2 armchairs, table and desk, refrigerator and the wardrobe offers enough space.You can find everything you want at the breakfast buffet.We had booked half board and a buffet in the evening. The delicious fish is particularly noteworthy here.At times, people in the kitchen obviously couldn't keep up with refilling the food - but everyone should actually take some time to eat.Pool area is attractive.The sauna area is surprisingly large, we enjoyed spending time here.The service is friendly.The hotel is centrally located, there are 2 supermarkets in the immediate vicinity.The train station, cable car, wildlife park, mine, Skywalk and Mühlenkopfschanze are within walking distance.

We stayed here at the hotel 3 weeks ago. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms nice and clean. Proximity to the gondola cable car is also okay. Nice hotel. Good parking options.

We have been guests at this hotel several times. The food was, as always, excellent, the breakfast including the attentive staff is second to none, the atmosphere is very warm, the price-performance ratio is very good, the menu is very extensive, the pools and the sauna area invite you to relax. We booked a room with a balcony that didn't suit us and we were very kindly offered three alternatives! It doesn't get any better. We absolutely cannot understand some of the negative reviews here and on other platforms. All information regarding the construction of the hotel in 1973 (if you are talented in calculations knows how old the hotel is in 2024 😂) can be found on the website. Additions can create a longer path from the reception to the room, there is no elevator... Certainly Not all rooms are extremely modern, but cleanliness is the main focus and it is excellent. As always, we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back…

Many thanks to the family for this great stay. It was a pleasant and, above all, enjoyable atmosphere in the hotel. We felt very comfortable.We were particularly impressed by the evening buffet, which was put together with a lot of effort and love. But the breakfast, including good coffee, also offered everything you needed to start the day. It is also interesting that a separate room with a projector and live broadcast of the European Championships was made possible in the evening. The coffee and waffles offer on Monday was very pleasant.Our room had a balcony and there was freedom of movement in the room. The mattresses were not too hard, not too soft. One lamp was missing its bulb. Otherwise everything was there, including a safe, minibar, bathrobe, hairdryer and bathroom accessories, etc. The only thing we missed was a small kettle for a quick coffee or tea. But that is dispensable. The lack of an elevator wasn't a drawback for us. Everything was convenient and quickly accessible.We had mostly "flowing" weather, so we were only on the Skywalk on the second day. It was a magnificent experience and the view should be captured. Unfortunately, we haven't had the opportunity to explore nature further. But there is still a lot to discover in Willingen and the surrounding area in the future.

We booked the hotel for the first time for the Bike Weeks. We got a well-equipped, modern, very clean room with very nice TV armchairs, a balcony with a breathtaking view of the mountains, heated pool or sauna etc etc... We were given a very warm welcome Questions or concerns were always answered in a friendly manner. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back here...

I have rarely experienced such nice staff and such a great hotel! We wanted to spend four wonderful days there with our two dogs! I have to say that the hotel is very dog-friendly. There were new dog blankets in the rooms, a drinking bowl and treats for the dogs!Unfortunately one of our dogs had a stroke and we had to leave after just two days! And here I would like to emphasize the excellent service and goodwill of the hotel: they immediately found us a veterinarian who had emergency service!!! When we unfortunately had to leave early due to our dog's illness, they were very accommodating and found a very accommodating solution for us! Something like this is not a given these days and we are very grateful! All in all I can only say the hotel is absolutely great. The wellness area is very well maintained and beautiful and the food is simply outstanding. In addition, of course, there is also the accommodating way of dealing with our problem! We have been coming here as a family for at least 15 years and are always very happy to be guests here. The house is changing, it is being renovated little by little, but everything is relaxed and done carefully. All the employees are extremely nice - many have been there for many years. A special compliment to the kitchen: Anyone who follows a vegetarian/vegan diet or has allergies can contact the chef, who will put together dishes specifically for this purpose. Even if the house is fully booked, the hotel is not overcrowded. Pools and saunas are fully sufficient. The situation is very relaxed in Willingen, which is sometimes quite noisy. Numerous hikes start nearby. The bus also stops around the corner, so you can leave the car for a week and relax and see something different every day. In summary: You can tell that this hotel is still family-run and you just feel comfortable.

Were in the hotel for the first time, what we noticed right from the start when checking in was that the staff at the reception weren't exactly friendly. A NOGO were the excuses that were given because several rooms were not ready for occupancy at 3 p.m., as was the lack of information that the swimming pool was closed until 12 p.m. on Monday morning. The ladies at the reception could learn a lesson from the friendliness of the staff in the restaurant, the bar and even the ladies at Hauskeepink. The room was very nice and clean, unfortunately the whole house is not suitable for wheelchairs. The swimming pool and sauna were very nice and clean. But the special thing about the whole hotel is the kitchen, the food was very tasty and of very high quality every day. We would particularly like to mention Antonio, Sandra and Romy, who were very friendly and open to us every day. And even the head of the house came to our table. We'd love to come back. The 2 reviews were again in the hotel for 5 days, we really liked it again, the food is simply great and with the two new young ladies Ms. Krömer and Sophia Lacovone, the friendliness at the reception has changed enormously for the better . What bothered us a bit is the fact that we had to use our swimming pool and sauna towels for the entire stay, as hygiene was probably neglected. All in all, the stay was very nice and we would be happy to come back. During our third stay, a lot of things changed to our advantage, the terrace was beautifully designed, the Allacart restaurant was modern. But we were particularly surprised by the friendliness at the reception, something we hadn't experienced before. And the service staff in the restaurant and bar were also very nice. We'd love to come back.
