We had a holiday apartment. We were 7 people for a bachelorette party. The accommodation is very large and well furnished. Everything you need is available in the kitchen. 2 bathrooms were available. Unfortunately the accommodation is a little outside of Willingen but you can quickly get to the city center by taxi. We can only recommend the accommodation.

I went there for 3 days. Short vacation was a spontaneous vacation, it was very nice with a nice view, the apartment was in a quiet corner, the center of Willingen was a few minutes away, there was breakfast but I didn't book it, the only negative thing was that there were a lot of spiders in the room There were windows from the outside otherwise it was nice and relaxed.

The six of us were there for the second time for a week. We had booked a great family apartment. The kids were thrilled. Great, varied program. The parents and grandparents were also enthusiastic about the program. The food was great, more than 10 good red wines and white wines all inclusive. Toilets, bathroom, indoor pool, outdoor pool were always clean. All of the staff were very friendly. We thought it was great and will be back

We were there with the family for the weekend and booked the accommodation online. Let's get to the positive things first. The accommodation is located just outside of Willingen but is easy to reach. You can get to the town by taxi for €2.50 per person and you can also get there in 3-5 minutes with your own car. The reception and breakfast area were beautifully furnished and the breakfast buffet was great. There are also enough parking spaces and dogs are also allowed. The apartment had a nice kitchen and a table where eight of us could sit comfortably, eat and play.Now the negative things.The entire building doesn't seem inviting from the outside. The parking lot in front of the house is full of garbage (Schlucki bottles, cigarette butt boxes, etc.) There is bulky waste in front of the building that seems to have just been thrown there.The apartment just wasn't clean. The carpet that was laid was full of stains and was probably over 20 years old. Of the two sofas in the apartment, one was full of stains whose origin I don't want to know! The pillows that came with it were also full of stains. The second sofa had a piece of cover cut into the middle and simply covered with a cushion. The worst thing was the stains on one of the sheets.We want to visit the region more often in the near future but will definitely look for other accommodations because the service simply doesn't match the price! 😩

Somewhat remote from Willingen. If you're looking for some peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you. The rooms are cozy, the breakfast buffet is rich and the staff is very friendly.Any time!

Breakfast was OK but the rest leaves something to be desired. We have to pay a lot of money for a holiday apartment at the weekend. Then you can expect the rest to be renewed or repaired. It would be nice to make it more friendly and inviting with the prices

Phew, where do I start: if I had looked at the Google reviews before booking, I would have left it alone. Many write “it’s enough for drinking tourism”. We were there with 7 moms over the weekend to celebrate. Nevertheless, I can still stay in clean, tidy accommodation, especially for the price! It was an absolute rip off! Starting with the weeds in front of the entrance. It doesn't make for a pretty picture when you arrive. The rooms were all clammy. Including bed linen and towels. The sofa had a crack where you could see the mold. The windowsill full of bird droppings. We only noticed at the end that there were cobwebs everywhere and that the bed linen was totally dirty. Carpet was laid in the whole place 30 years ago, this is what it smelled like and this is what it looked like. Everything mushy and crunchy. Breakfast was, yeah, ok. Coffee rather bad than good. For the money I'm used to different standards. Also in Willingen! We were aware that the accommodation was remote.

Somewhat remote from Willingen, we were surprised that the house looked a little different than it did on the internet. The photos of the apartment also did not correspond to what was offered on the Internet; photos can be misleading.Very spacious but very spartan. No storage space in the very small bathroom, no hairdryer, the ventilation made an unbearable noise. The double bed was a disaster, just don't move it because it squeaked and creaked loudly. Plates thrown together in the kitchen, cutlery from grandma's time. Toaster not available either. When asked, they said that so much was stolen, so only the bare essentials.Balcony covered with cobwebs, you didn't dare sit on the chairs - old and broken. Window sills full of bird droppings.All in all, not recommended for relaxation, completely sufficient for “drinkers”.Maybe you should make differences in the facilities offered based on the guests (drinking or relaxing)!

Sonnenhof, the name and the photos promise something that does not correspond to reality at all.Don't even know where to start. Maybe on the positive side: shower was new and good, it could have been much worse.What is included according to the internet is not available. Statement: There is a lot of stealing.Sure Willingen is mostly a bowling club and a drinking holiday. I understand. But you should then make corresponding offers on the Internet.Beds: (In our apartment) you don't dare turn around so as not to wake the other person up, everything squeaks so much.The cleanliness in the apartment was okay, but nothing more. Cobwebs everywhere, you were afraid to even sit on two of the four balcony chairsConclusion: Definitely sufficient for the main guests (drinking vacation), inadequate for a relaxing vacation and not recommended.

We stayed at the Hotel Sonnenhof from June 16th to 18th. An apartment with a kitchen was booked. On site we were given a mini attic apartment with an ancient, dirty carpet, no kitchenette/cutlery or plates, 1 mini-trash can for the entire small apartment, hardly any power sockets. ...We were already well served.To top it off, when we left we received a bill for 4 drinks. When asked, they said that was the number of people. The lady at reception couldn't tell us why 2 EUR per person was charged. We would never book this accommodation again.

Insanely unfriendly owner. First nobody at the reception and then very rude and not at all hospitable. We were spoken to in a tone that was frightening. Furthermore, we would be accused of lying because the good Lord distorted the facts. It was booked via Booking with the information about free cancellation. The owner made it very clear what he thought of booking and there was no possibility of cancellation. Wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.
