We were there for the breakfast buffet and it was really great. It left nothing to be desired and the staff was very attentive and friendly. We'd love to come back. Therefore I cannot rate the rooms.

New modern house. Nice, large rooms with everything you need. Good beds - more soft than hard, spacious bathroom, parking spaces directly at the house. Numerous shopping opportunities in the immediate vicinity. Nice and courteous service.

We were invited to a family celebration in the meeting rooms. We didn't use the hotel.The atmosphere is pleasant and there is enough parking space.Regarding the service: a catastrophe, we haven't seen anything like that for a long time.On the one hand, what wasn't so bad: The buffet was set up in an adjoining room, which is completely fine in the first place, but then you should make sure that the passage is a little wider. The people waiting in line and those who want to go back to the table with full plates are completely in each other's way.The plates after the meal are only partially cleared away, or only after 3 hours. We put our cutlery, used napkins, crown caps on the plates. The waiter came, put everything on the plate back on the table and took the plates with him. When you later got something from the salad bar, you had to eat with dirty, dried cutlery because there was no clean cutlery at the buffet.There were also cocktails that you could order. The same game here was about clearing away. The paper straws from the cocktail glasses are removed from the glass and also left on the table.The tables were full of used napkins, dried cutlery and used paper straws.The worst thing of all: We had a home-baked cake, as a number, handed over to the staff in perfect, beautiful condition. Unfortunately, when the cake was supposed to be ceremoniously brought into the hall, it was completely destroyed and people (attempted) to put it together. There was no explanation or anything like that from the staff. Of course the cake couldn't be served to the guests. Something like that can happen, but then you at least expect a statement/explanation.For a large celebration of more than 40 people, more than 2 waiters should be planned.

Very pleasant, modern design and contemporary.You can enjoy and relax wonderfully in the lovingly dreamy, well-equipped and carpeted rooms.I was on a floor that was decorated with various fairy tales on the walls of the rooms.This room was designed with a current bathroom, television and lots of natural light.There were also many sockets available and usable.I was absolutely thrilled. Next door there were various opportunities to purchase a variety of things.Since I am native to the Ruhr area and have friends in Hofgeismar, I am considering booking this hotel again.
