Super tasty food that is really worth the money. Very friendly service and child-friendly.

Unfortunately, I can't really understand the positive reviews. Luckily we had a voucher, it really wasn't worth the money. And despite the voucher, the visit was very disappointing.In principle, one of the waitresses (the two older women) was friendly, had a lot to do and paid more attention to the regular guests. Unfortunately, the other waitress was very, very unfriendly and didn't give the impression that you could order anything from her. It wasn't really attentive and focused on the guest's well-being.Where should I start? The onion soup tasted incredibly like flavor enhancers and pepper. The scalloped bread was also quite disappointing. If you're looking forward to a nice cheese topping and crusty bread here, you're unfortunately in the wrong place. The soups should come as starters, as should the one side salad. We specifically emphasized that. The soups came first. After these were cleared away, the salad came. It was not possible to contact us to ask because we were unfortunately ignored.The selection for vegetarians is disappointing. There are salads and also a smoked salmon and rösti option, but no real “Rhön fish dish”. And I don't have to go out to eat for vegetables in fatty hollandaise sauce. Unfortunately, in general there were only very fatty vegetarian options, for example seasonal chanterelles in cream sauce. A delicious Rhön trout or grilled salmon would be an appropriate option on such a lavish menu... but apparently the offer here is aimed more at meat eaters.The salad was basically swimming in fatty sour cream sauce, but it didn't really see any spices. A positive aspect were the two dips that came with the mozzarella sticks. These and the sticks were okay - but they didn't taste homemade either.The dessert could have been the highlight - as long as there weren't any ice crystals in the ice cream... it's really a shame. I really hope this isn't the standard.If you want to eat your schnitzel in peace and drink a beer, you're definitely in good hands here. If you enjoy delicious delicacies and are looking for more special dishes, you should go somewhere else. Unfortunately, the food stayed in my stomach the whole evening.

I can recommend this restaurant for family celebrations. Large, bright and well-equipped rooms invite you to linger.

Great, very friendly service and good food! We felt very welcome and comfortable with our two children! Can only be recommended. We stopped there after a bike ride. That was a good decision!

We stopped there at lunchtime on a bike tour with 27 people. Everything was just right. Food great, service great and prices ok too.

Very friendly staff, food comes to the table quickly and fresh. But the "mozzarella in beer batter"...unfortunately only pre-made sticks from the bag, the 2 dips and the dressing from the bottle. The leaf lettuce was piled high with grated carrots, white cabbage and cucumber, garnished with cherry tomatoes and ready... for me at around €13.90 it wasn't a reasonable price/performance ratio. Too bad :-(

Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was very good and tasty and there was something for everyone. Price and performance is ok. I can only recommend it👍

Good German cuisine and friendly service

Very friendly staff and super delicious food. Find on the extensive menueveryone has something for their taste. Vegetarian, something exotic or good German cuisine, everyone will find what they are looking for here. The atmosphere is very cozy
