Seldom seen such a beautiful hotel. Our room was huge and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The pool area and sauna were very clean and nice. And you can only rave about the breakfast and half-board buffet in the evening. It was really outstanding. And all the staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. We would love to come back

Rooms from the last century, but clean.Renovation backlog!The cleaning of the adjoining rooms or in the stairwell/hallway was very loud and already from 6 a.m.!There is another way to relax!

We stayed at the Romantikhotel for 2 nights 2 weeks ago. It was very nice. The service from restaurant manager Susanne was extremely good. The food was fantastic from breakfast onwards. The buffet in the evening was also very good. The room was very spacious. The wellness area is a bit old but very soothing after a hiking tour. The bathrobes really take a little getting used to. We would love to come back.

Hotel is located on the edge of the forest. Very quiet location and ideal starting point for hikes. It's only a few minutes to the Skywalk. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. Varied and luxurious. Our room was very large and modern and just a few steps to the swimming pool. The sauna area was very nice and the swimming pool was quite large for a hotel. However, the water temperature could have been 2 degrees warmer... All in all, we can't complain. Great hotel. We'd love to come back.

👍 Attractive romantic hotel with spacious (but noisy) rooms, swimming pool & sauna, beautiful view, friendly, service-oriented team and delicious cuisineLooking for a short break/wellness package and found it at the Stryckhaus:Rooms and bathrooms spacious, clean and functional, outdoor area very well maintained and attractive.In the room there is a bathrobe and slippers as well as a sauna bag with towels, a Nespresso coffee machine with 4 capsules, a bottle of mineral waterYou could sleep well in the beds, but the room and bathroom were a bit noisy, so you could hear the residents of the next room talking and coughing or notice when the bathroom in the other room was being used.👍Towel change and room service/cleaning can be used if necessary in a resource-saving manner.Breakfast and dinner were offered in buffet form (see 📸) and were highly recommended. The half-board arrangement was convincing in terms of both the selection and the variety. The service team in the restaurant was international, extremely friendly and quick! Many thanks to the kitchen and the service team 🎖️🥃🍻The range of beers was convincing and there was not only the usual large brewery offering, but also extremely tasty dark beer! 👍The indoor and outdoor swimming pools and the sauna area are well maintained and clean. The Finnish sauna is available from 1 p.m., the other saunas can be used beforehand if necessary.Starting from the hotel, there are numerous hiking opportunities and mountain bike trails available. Mühlenkopfschanze and the Skywalk Willingen (at 665 meters the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in Germany and the second longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world) are within walking distance.It was a very pleasant, relaxing stay (apart from the noisiness of the room).🎖️ Many thanks to the entire team for the good, friendly service, the nice welcome and the good food. 🙏

I would give 6 stars...From check-in to check-out, everything was perfect!Starting with a friendly welcome and information about all the important conditions and facilities, a huge, clean room with a terrace where everything has been thought of (bathrobe, sauna towel, coffee machine, cotton swabs, nail file, oh what else do I know), great service and Grandiose restaurant, idyllic and stylish interior, sauna area, pool... I could write a book!A great hotel where nothing is missing, an indescribable breakfast and well-being are guaranteed!

We went to the Stryckhaus 5 times in September and were very impressed again.But who made the stay particularly pleasant was the restaurant manager, Ms. Susanne Daehre. Ms. Daehre is always there, sees everything, is very polite in a very natural way and you feel very well looked after. We'll definitely be back.

Our planned destination was a nearby hotel about 10km away. However, after this hotel (also 4 *) disappointed us on site, we went on a digital search again and ended up in the Hotel Stryckhaus - almost the same price at the same hotel chain - after requesting a room by telephone. Very good (quiet) location, perfect starting point for a short climb to the Skywalk (a MUST if you stay there). The building was built at the end of the 70s and has the (upscale) 80s charm, which I really like (being born in the early 70s)! There are guests who complain about this in their reviews, but I feel rather uncomfortable in newer - mostly sterile and straight - buildings. Yes, if you look very closely, there is an old dowel eking out a useless existence in the joint between the tiles. I would get rid of something like that at home, but that's because many people like to describe me as meticulous. (I would like to offer the hotel to track down and eliminate all these little things so that everything is 120% 'clean'). The spa area includes everything your heart desires. The steam saunas don't smell 'musty' in any way (as my sensitive nose can detect in other hotels), everything here is fresh! There are more than enough towels in the rooms, bathrobes are also available and do not need to be ordered separately. We had half board and were not disappointed. Price-performance is right. There is a sufficient selection at both the breakfast and evening buffets and there are one or two extras in the selection that are not or only rarely found in other hotels. Therefore: just have time and leisure to spend time at the buffet and don't rush around to the feeding trough (probably everyone knows this). The drink dispensers (with digital touch display) and other devices are up to date. TheFood service is very good! Many thanks and big praise to Susanne, who, as an experienced specialist, manages her area confidently - even at high speeds - and always listens personally to the guests! Something like that has become rare. Dear hotel management: Taking a look and encouraging the young talent to learn something is what retains customers in the anonymous/digital age.All in all, this was my/our first but NOT last visit to this hotel. The hotel's occupancy rate is regularly 100% on weekends (even outside the holiday season!). So book early, we spontaneously got lucky within the week.

It was really nice with you. The staff in the restaurant (Sabine and a trainee from Kyrgyzstan who were responsible for us) were exceptionally nice, friendly and very attentive. The food, which we had as part of the half board buffet, was excellent. Everything your heart, stomach and soul desires was there. We haven't eaten so well in a very long time!!! Kudos to the kitchen and all the staff. We felt very comfortable in the wellness area. The only thing missing is an outdoor area where you can go unclothed when you come out of the sauna. Our room was also great and you could get to the wellness area through a corridor from the main building, where our room was. The location was great. 1.2 km up the mountain on foot and you are at the Skywalk suspension bridge and the ski jump. Absolutely and without reservation recommended

The very quiet location of the hotel is an ideal starting point for visiting the Mühlenkopfschanze and the Skywalk. Of course also for all kinds of hikes. Town center at normal pace approx. 30 minutes. Service, breakfast buffet and dinner are excellent. The renovated rooms are of a 4-star standard. We really liked the combination of traditional and modern elements. Susanne's restaurant management is professional, friendly and has organization and staff under control. The downer for digital junkees: cell phone/data reception is not always sufficient.
