We received a warm welcome and our rooms were lovingly furnished down to the last detail. The breakfast is sensationally good. Everything your heart desires. It's rare to find staff so friendly and helpful. Thank you for the great stay

Unfortunately we cannot share the great reviews that we have received here. Maybe we got the worst room, room 12.Our room looked good at first glance. But upon closer inspection, there were a few things wrong. Although the cleaning lady had just left, 3 lamps didn't work. Two of them (we only noticed the third towards the evening) were exchanged very quickly by a friendly employee.Different bulbs were used in the open lamps on the bedside tables, which no longer looks good. The window is made of aluminum and was therefore full of condensation the next morning. Of course, this also explains the mold in the frame and on the wall connection. In the shower cubicle there is also mold on the doors and dirt underneath. The toilet is very nicely rimless but has a thick yellow stain at the water outlet. Behind the door in the bathroom, the radiator has scratches from the door key, which could be quickly remedied with a stopper or a knob and it wasn't clean either. A shower shelf and towel hooks would also be nice so that used damp towels don't all hang on one rack. The makeshift kitchen in the room may be well-intentioned, but we find it rather inappropriate and unhygienic in the bedroom. And here the plastic wall paneling was not cleaned after the last cooking of a predecessor. The breakfast was very good but the dishes were not always clean. And in the breakfast room it smells a bit like a cowshed, you could use a room scent here. Otherwise well and comfortably furnished and the staff very friendlyAll in all, we were glad we only booked one night. A good breakfast and friendly staff, very good. It doesn't have to be a newly renovated room, but dirt and mold are not acceptable.

Nice theme hotel to spend the night in. There is not much to do in the village itself, but it does look attractive.The hotel is located in a quiet street and is easily accessible, in the hotel you can provide yourself with drinks, etc. The food served also tastes good.At check-in we were treated quite impersonally and not much was explained, she also didn't bother to speak more quietly or switch to English.

We were there for one night. We booked the simple room and got a room upgrade to a gold room. When we registered we asked for a bed without a footboard. This was taken into account. Taking our three dogs with us wasn't a problem at all. We were warmly welcomed and felt welcome straight away.In the evening we brought the dogs with us. The staff was thrilled and immediately sponsored treats. Our dogs showed off their tricks.The room was very nice and clean. There was something sweet and water to welcome us. On the ground floor there was self-service coffee, tea and fruit.We slept very well.The breakfast room is large and the breakfast is great. There really was everything and plenty of it.When we left there were treats for the dogs and two bottles of water for us.We noticed that the staff is really super friendly. The parking lot was free and right at the hotel.We would book again and again.

Beautiful hotel in the old town of Korbach. The rooms are very lovingly and creatively furnished. The common thread behind it is gold mining, which has significantly shaped the history of Korbach and this is reflected in the decoration but also in the name of the hotel. Truly magical in the truest sense of the word. The breakfast buffet was very rich, varied and tasty. There is a separate play area for children with books and painting materials.The staff is also super nice and solves conflicts or problems in a very courteous manner. The sauna with a great outdoor area on a roof terrace with a view of the old town was also great. Be careful with the prices, however: an exclusive sauna evening costs 19.90 euros per person. We would still come back immediately and can recommend the hotel without reservation!

We stayed in the apartment house. The rooms are well equipped, clean and you have everything you need. Firm, not saggy mattresses. Very friendly staff and an unbeatable breakfast for the price! Thank you for the lovely stay!

Great little hotel in the city center. Despite the location, it's nice and quiet to relax and unwind. The “savings rooms” have everything you could expect from a 3-star hotel. Sufficient parking spaces directly in the hotel area
