The Hotel am Rehberg can only be recommended! We were warmly welcomed and immediately received our first tips for Lindau. We had the apartment with two separate bedrooms. That was really nice and very practical and uncomplicated for four people. Breakfast was lovingly prepared on a small buffet, always fresh and in a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. The family atmosphere and willingness to help was very pleasant! Another plus point is the direct connection to the Lindau bus lines, which we made good use of. Many thanks again to our hosts!

Nice little hotel with friendly owners and a delicious breakfast. The location of the hotel on Lindau is perfect, just a few minutes' walk to the "Zentralen Umsteige Bahnhof". All buses stop here and wait for passengers, perfect.

Very nice, quiet and centrally located hotel. Breakfast is great and the rooms are lovingly furnished. Very friendly staff. From there, everything in the Lake Constance area (Germany) can be easily reached by bus and train (free thanks to the Lake Constance spa card).

Very nice family-run hotel in a quiet location!As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the Bast family. You immediately feel comfortable. This warmth was shown to us at all times throughout our entire stay (10 days). We were always available to give advice and support. The quiet hotel, with a large garden and various seating and lying options, is beautifully located and yet central. The bus station is close by and travel is free with the spa card. But you can also reach the island of Lindau on foot in about 10 minutes. Particularly noteworthy is the delicious breakfast with products from the region: fresh rolls, delicious jams, honey, various types of bread, sausage and cheese, scrambled eggs, various muesli, fruit, yoghurt, juices, delicious coffee, and other drinks on request. just to name a few. We really enjoyed the breakfast. We (4 people) lived in a nice, large apartment on the 3rd floor with 2 balconies, a spacious new bathroom, etc. Despite the sometimes high outside temperature, it was pleasant in the apartment, thanks to the external shutters, among other things. The entire house is very clean, well maintained and lovingly furnished. Due to the nice weather we didn't use the swimming pool and sauna. We really liked the hotel and of course Lindau too. Many thanks again to the Bast family for the lovely stay and kind regards from the Heesch family.

A very nice breakfast with cold cuts, cheese, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs from the tetra pack, but fresh rolls and bread with a lot of variety every day. Some fish wouldn't have been bad, perhaps smoked salmon. VariousMuesli and fresh fruit.Honey from the beekeeper, various jams, oh yes, Nutella or chocolate cream wouldn't have been bad either, even if there weren't many children in the hotel, but adults definitely like to eat it too.Our room was a small apartment in the annex which consisted of a living room, bedroom, small alcove with 2 hotplates and a refrigerator and a bathroom. Balcony for 2 people with a small view of the lake and the mountains, but everything is a little further away! The only thing that was a bit unpleasant was the smell in the stairwell, even though the windows were always open, it was always musty. But luckily not in the apartment anymore :)Currently Unfortunately there is also a construction site on the other side of the street where a house is being completely renovated, i.e. from 7.30 a.m. when the windows are open you are awake. Since it was very warm, you couldn't sleep without an open window because the apartment was under the roof.The friendliness and price were unbeatable 🥰

We simply loved the place. We were traveling to Lindau with a 5 month old baby and were a bit stressed about how we will manage the needs of our baby while also enjoying our trip. The hotel staff made sure that we didn't have to worry about the baby. They provided us with a baby cot. We could get a room with a small kitchen in it for us to heat or store milk. The room had a personal balcony with a beautiful view. And above all the hotel owners were very very nice. Their cheerful smiles, guidance of the local area and pleasant nature made our stay very comfortable.

The hotel is located in a convenient spot near the bus stops. Nevertheless, the place is quiet at night and not too busy during the day. The rooms are spacious and clean - my room even featured kitchen and living room. Breakfast was tasty and service was very nice.

We spent a wonderful week in this quietly located hotel. After the warm welcome, we moved into our spacious suite with a balcony and mountain view and a small kitchenette. The suite was sparkling clean. The location of the hotel is also perfect. The central transfer point for buses is just around the corner. Buses in Lindau and the train can be used free of charge with the “Echt Bodensee Card”. You will receive the card on the first day. The wellness area also leaves nothing to be desired - swimming pool, sauna and infrared cabin. The start of the day begins with the extensive breakfast buffet, which features regional delicacies and is constantly replenished by Ms. Bast. The town of Lindau is beautiful and a great starting point for many wonderful excursions - the family is happy to give advice. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Very warm welcome, good tips for all eventualities. Rooms are large with a balcony and very clean. There is an Edeka nearby, bus station around the corner, island easy to reach on foot. The breakfast is very good.We would love to come back and can highly recommend the hotel.

We occupied the Deluxe suite and it was simply amazing. The hosts are very polite and rooms tidy and spacious, with a view to Swiss mountains from the window. Be aware that there are no escalators so be prepared for a bit of climbing stairs 🙂. The breakfast spread is elaborate. Do not miss to buy fresh produce from the local shop right in front.

We stayed in the hotel for a week in July 2023, it was clean, but everything was very old and had long since seen its best days. The house and the rooms smelled like “old grandma”, really musty. The "suite" in the basement was old and musty and didn't deserve the name suite; there was also an unappetizing kitchen in it. The breakfast was ok, not very imaginative and a fried egg was too much work. The swimming pool is also ancient and musty. The pictures on the website are correct, but also ancient. The hotel is definitely not recommended if you are looking for a bit of quality.

We spent four lovely days in Lindau and felt very comfortable in this house. The suite was lovingly furnished and everything was clean and comfortable. We slept wonderfully because the beds had really good mattresses and the pillows were really comfortable. The owners are very friendly and gave us good tips, such as how best to get from A to B and much more. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, everything was delicious, fresh and plentiful. All in all, we can only highlight positive things and thank you for four wonderful days.

The location is great. Right around the corner is the small bus station, where all buses leave every half hour and cover the area well. The rooms are also great. The breakfast buffet is more than sufficient and also very tasty. There are enough parking spaces available. A nice family-owned hotel.

We stayed here at the hotel for 2 weeks and received a very friendly welcome. We were immediately given valuable tips for excursion destinations, restaurants and how we could best get everywhere for free without a car using the guest card. The bus stop is just a few meters away and it's just great. The room (with 2 bedrooms) we had was very nice, super large, everything there was a kitchen, living room, great bathroom with shower and bathtub, a covered balcony. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, it is always freshly refilled, the breads are amazing, the coffee is great. Downstairs in the hotel there is a very nice swimming pool with a counter-current system and a red light booth for two. Very clean everything. A wonderful garden with chairs and tables and loungers to linger and relax from the incredible number of excursions you can take.

August 2023We stayed for 9 days in the centrally located family hotel with a view of the mountains of Austria. Very friendly, sweet hosts. Everything was super neat and clean. Used towels were replaced every day and the bed was changed halfway through our stay. The room was very spacious and laid out as an apartment. The breakfast was very good. Was always neatly replenished. (just missed the sprinkles and chocolate spread?) ;)I think if I had asked for it, it would have just been taken care of. The host often gave us (in a funny way) very good, useful tips.It was also nice that the bus station was very close to the hotel. With a Lake Constance ticket through the hotel we could travel by bus and train for free. We hardly used the car. Very helpful hosts. Everything clean. Breakfast buffet is always replenished. All employees very friendly. Good, central location. No car necessary, the central bus station can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. Parking spaces available at the house. Nice garden to use.
