We spontaneously booked ourselves here for one night. The room was clean, but everything was old and shabby, and there wasn't even a shower head holder in the shower!!! We had a balcony, yes, but these rooms face the main road, but have a direct view of the castle. Accordingly, the volume was a little less at night. It was still not possible to sleep with the window open. The breakfast was good for us. Unfortunately, there is zero friendliness on the part of the boss. There is a simple good day, good morning and without a smile. Even I, as a restaurateur, just think it's a shame. The price for one night is just right compared to others in the area.

Had a horrible night. We arrived at the hotel after reception closed. The key to our room would be ready. We searched for two hours but couldn't find it. The manager could not be reached. Finally, at half past three in the morning, an employee of the hotel happened to walk by. She helped us. We couldn't go to sleep until half past four because they apparently forgot to put the key down. We have tried to contact Katharina, but she has not responded. No compensation and not even a response. Scandalous. Had to sleep in the car for almost €104, ultimately staying in a hotel for three hoursLater that week we contacted the manager. We got €50 back.

We didn't have any high expectations, the room and bathroom were getting old. But it was clean. Breakfast rich and good.Unfortunately it is advertised as non-smoking accommodation, but people still smoked, which is bad because you only have the balcony door to ventilate and you couldn't leave it open.And we couldn't use the guest card either because it wasn't in the email attachment and wasn't made available even after asking three times in the last few days.

We recently visited Schwangau and stayed at this hotel, since the rates seemed reasonable for the location. We realized that it would be rather on the simple side, which is fine. However, we arrived past the check-in time window and had no instructions what to do for that event. Apparently they leave an envelope with the keys. But there was no sign, instruction in the emails, or anything pointing to that. When we found someone to help us and we approached the staff, they were extremely grumpy and annoyed at the fact that guests are asking them a question after 6pm. And reprimanded the foreign intern, who had kindly tried to help us, for doing so. Very poor, unfriendly and unwelcoming service!! The rooms were simple, as expected. Our bathroom had a terrible design, with the door hitting the toilet, leading it to be in the way every time you accessed the bathroom. On a positive note, the breakfast was delicious and the location convenient for visiting the castles (despite being a bit noisy since the hotel is right by the main road).

The price is excessive and not justified. As a hotel guest you don't even get the opportunity to just have a drink in the separately run restaurant. The drinks machine delivers warm drinks and is an unreasonable solution at these temperatures. The rooms are old and in need of renovation. Not recommended.

Dismal, dirty, dated and the rooms boiling hot with no air circulation - and a lot of noise outside with the open windows! So over priced too - they just need to close this place and stop disappointing guests who need a good nights sleep somewhere clean and comfortable. You couldn’t even cool off with a cold drink from the vending machine as it wasn’t working. Awful! I do not recommend.

Hotel is on a noisy street. The rooms are not air conditioned, so you have to sleep with the windows open. It's incredibly loud. Almost didn't sleep for 2 nights of my vacation - The hotel is not recommended!
