Getting in touch is difficult, you can hardly reach anyone by phone. Only the first question is consistently answered by email.I specifically asked for a quiet room and got one facing the main street, next to the church. The bell rang all night, every 15 minutes.The WiFi in the room is hardly available, but you can shop via QVC, otherwise unfortunately only ARD, ZDF and the third ones are available. Wender RTL, Sat1, cable, Pro7, nothing works. The shower head in room 14 should be descaled. Breakfast from 8 a.m. and we turned on the coffee ourselves. At 8:10 a.m. someone came with rolls, they said they weren't ready at the bakery, but they weren't really warm enough for that. The room was entered with the words that I was sitting at the wrong table. Unfortunately my room number wasn't listed and I was in a hurry. And card payments cost extra, yes also EC. It's a shame, it actually has potential. A little more warmth would be nice, since you're coming for a vacation.

Disgustingly inappropriate wench of hotel-owner screamed at my 9-month old baby. If you enjoy witnessing a grown woman berate an infant, this is the place for you! Never have I experienced "service" so bad.

Beds hard and loud and deep,Shower tight, rod broke out of wall, wasn't repaired in 3 days.Room with a small window. No elevator.Checking in at 4 p.m. very inconvenient. Service sparse, no help with luggage, no parking space.Breakfast room darkened and stuffy. Price/performance not available. A pity.

We just ate in the beer garden but it was lovely and quiet, the food was yummy and well-priced, and the service was delightful! ☺️

The hotel is beautifully located right next to Balinger Tor.The first problems came when checking in, there was simply no one there. I had to call the hotel from the hotel. At the first breakfast we had to make the coffee ourselves, at the second breakfast the staff came a quarter of an hour late and we had to wait in front of the locked breakfast room. To top it off, we were reprimanded by the boss because we allegedly tore open the toast bag. The behavior doesn't work at all. CONCLUSION: Rooms and food appropriate for the price, the hotel management catastrophic and outrageous.

Nice hotel located right in the city center. Rooms serve the purpose. Clean and well equipped. Service was simply top. The food in the evening was not only prepared, but deliciously cooked and fresh. Best asparagus in years. Our cat was welcome. We'll definitely come back again.

I went on a Saturday evening and it was very busy.We received drinks very quickly and food was also received quickly.Unfortunately, when our food came, not the entire table was served. A meal was simply brought to the next table.Unfortunately there was no response and I had to wait a long time for my food. Unfortunately there was no apology either.But the food was huge portions that tasted good and were also affordable.

We were looking for a typical Bavarian beer garden and ended up in the Golden Rose. What do you order in the beer garden in Bavaria - of course a beer and a fresh light beer from the tap. After a long wait, I was served a moderately chilled bottle of cheap beer from the supermarket and my wife was served a glass of wine the size of a thimble. The fun cost 10.10 euros and forced me to give this terrible rating.

The current highlight of my bike tour from Winterthur in Switzerland to Bamberg in Germany. Rooms small but with everything you need. Staff is polite and courteous. The food was wonderful and the service was perfect! Nothing to complain about!
